Is no one gonna bring up some of those AI planes on that list... come on... :)

• Avro Lancaster

• Hawker Typhoon

• C-47

• Ju-88

• Fw 190 A-6 and A-8

• Bf 109 G-6

• A-20 Havoc/Boston

• B-24

• B-25

• B-26

Sneaking in some more bombers! If they're as good as the B-17 they'll be treat to behold.

With regards to the fighters in there...can you say if ED have been busy behind the scenes with AI + AI SFM?

As good as the 3d models will be, it'd be a shame to have them tarred with the same issues that are in DCS currently.

and dont forget guys, RRG-Ilya wanted to realize this DCS-Normandy project as a completely seperated program in 2014

thanks to God (and to ED) things and plans have changed since that time. this is how great when everything is subject to change :D

who paid $40 or more 3 years ago will get not only flyable aircrafts and the map but some nice and new 3D models as well now

in May we will be able to use modern vehicles and aircrafts over this Normandy map too

so who want to buy the map only won't get bored for sure

however i think that asset pack will worth that price. we had some conversations and polls about this "paid 3D models" few years ago and i am happy now how we are getting the opportunity to expand the numbers of the detailed 3D models of DCSW (what we will able to use by Combined Arms too, hopefully)

full price $30 is not so high for 30-40 detailed 3D models, especially for 10 new aircrafts :bounce:

I'm not certain The "Normandy WWII Assets Pack" will be included the The DCS WWII Backers Program?

from FB

The DCS: Normandy Map and the DCS: World War II Assets Pack will be available as a 20%-off, pre-purchase bundle for $47.99. Upon release in late April 2017, the DCS: Normandy 1944 Map and DCS: World War II Assets Pack bundle will be sold for $59.99, and the stand-alone DCS: Normandy 1944 Map for $44.99 and the stand-alone DCS: World War II Assets pack for $29.99.

Note: Those that took part in the DCS: World War II Kickstarter campaign, and provided a high enough contribution to receive the Normandy map, will receive the assets pack for free.

A bundle is simply two or more products combined under a single, reduced price.

Per-purchase availability will be announced in this week's Newsletter.

by the way: how detailed will be the 11 new asset-pack-aricraft 3D models ?

will be the same elaboration as the B-17 model ? some WIP screenshots of the models would be nice (at least in this friday newsletter)

and 1 more wish. i dont wanna be a voracious person but next to that new Ju-88 3D model in the asset pack would be nice to get the also famous and remarkable Ju-87, Bf-110 and He-111 3D AI models too

I am not sure the other aircraft are in a state to show yet, but soon as they can they will show I am sure.

YAY! Normandy almost here. Finally a merge of all the maps into one install!!! :)

We have been dying a bit ever since NTTR was released, so Im very excited about Normandy+Nevada+Caucasus maps under one install. Not to mention that keeping track of all the module-updates will be a lot easier! Thanks ED for finally getting this situation fixed

Looks incredible, thanks for all your hard work ED, the vehicle and aircraft lists are also top notch.

Sounds like the community isn't big on choice these days, maybe next time just set a hard price of $60-$70 and be done with it. I bet it would save you the headache.

That being said, I think the fact that you ARE offering us options on how we purchase our content is pretty big of you and a nice gesture to the community, I hope if you choose to go down this path in the future people see it that way.

Looking forward to April!

Take calm, need wait to 2.5 and caucasus release, Wags talk about Normandy will coming on a "2.1" version. Surely 2.5 can coming later soon.

Fair enough Sith :)

It's just a good opportunity to start with a clean plate and for ED to be able to say they've fixed some of the bigger long standing criticisms of DCS.

You do realize that Normandy is going to be released onto the v2 branch and the Caucasus will still be on the v1.5 branch for a while.

Just saw it. all I can say is ..... I'm still speechless.... and had to watch it 3 times before I could pick my jaw up off the floor, the anti- tank gun shot from the hedgerow and all the other scenes have me in a state of shock almost. Exellent job all involved
