Yep, can't see them either!

No flowers in 2.5 :(

Edit: Is it just me or are the F-86F / MiG-15bis Contest Screenshots not displayed?

Fixed all Images Missing (Header Images and Screenshot Winners) and some typos.

All ok this end, at least with 1.5 release version. Works fine.

Try a repair?

Does a repair wipe out my joystick button assignments?

no, not that I am aware. They are stored in your saved games folder not the game folder which is repaired.

I've done lots of repairs and it's never affected my control assignments. Just disable any mods you may be running first as it will remove these during the repair (just like an update would). I use JSGME for this.

Thanks, I have posted my logs folder for them on the 2.0 installation problem forum, hopefully will give them a clue what might have happened on my end.

very nice but i hope you guys optimize trees they are eating too much fps or tree shadows
This. The dynamic tree shadows do make a hit on FPS. It would be ideal if we could control tree shadows by themselves - dynamic, flat, or off but maybe it isn't feasible for some technical reason.

Anyways, great update, guys.

I wish I could get my tree shadow option back. I really don't like tree shadow..

It would be great to get an option for this but to me, tree shadows are a MUST!!!...

About screens, I would like ED to polish the way trees and objets fades into distance, right now it looks very harsh to me and its very important to make things not to pop-in as we get closer to them. Right now, I love the way 1.5, specially buildings in cities, fades in or appear as you fly away/get closer to them.

Also, the blurry reflections are nice, but they seem to be a bit of "low resolution" as the bridge at the left side of the screen looks like its not reflecting anything.

Black smoke is also I personally think is not very nice nor realistic, hope they change this to white.

The way the sea fades into the horizont is also way better now, as the general lighting tint.

Nice improvements in general!!!!, now it would be great to get some news about new clouds/weather/effects and I would be happy!!!:smilewink:

Take a look at my MODS here

Wow, finally trees around airbases. I always hated it, that there were almost no trees around them.

Bye, Smith

Good news guys. Was losing faith there, for a second. It seemed this year was going to be just hype.

Keep up the never ending hard work. Hopefully I shall reward it by purchasing all of it on day 1.
