OK guys........It took me about 30 seconds to get my behind over to the DCS sight when I saw pre purchase for the spitfire started today.

Slapped down the ole Visa and now it's just a matter of time before many of you are shooting me down in this great plane.

All I can say is that as more and more modules are being released, the process is getting better and better. Planes are coming out with fewer bugs and in better shape. I am sure that the Spitfire will be no exception to this.

I can't wait guys!!! Thanks so much for helping me realize my fantasy of being a fighter pilot. You guys are tops!!!! :pilotfly:

I cant fly right now and i pre purchased as well, and while i was at it, put my bonus points towards Nevada. So much has been released since i was last able to fly last Dec and not sure how much longer till i can again. I bough the m2000, f5, spitfire, mig 15, gazelle, and l39 while i have been gone, and still need more modules like the bf109 and fw190 before i get back and can fly. I will have so much to learn especially if the Viggen and f14 are out by then.

Great - so we all got some time to read the pilot notes? .......

and what really excites me, is that ED is unlikely to release Spitfire unless the new map is too far behind?
