BRU-33/A does not deploy Guided Munitions. (GBU's included).

Dual Conventional Bombs and Rocket Pods are used on the BRU-33/A

Maybe the BRU-33A VER does not, but if the BRU-55 was not in service in 2005, then these must be BRU-33A/A CVERs carrying pairs of GBUs

I know these are Marine F/A-18Ds, but I'm just pointing out that maybe the BRU-55 is not required for GBUs after all. Vitormouraa's NAVAIR screenshot also demonstrates instructions for loading a GBU-12 on a BRU-33.

ok, from what I've understood:

Early LGB's (GBU-12's) can be deployed from BRU-33/A;

JSOW, JDAM, WCMD, Current Production GBU-12/16's Cannot Due to Introduction of GPS Guidance into the System which requires the BRU-55/A and the Data Bus.

GPS Enabled Versions are now labeled as GBU-48/49 Respectively.

However all Existing GBU-12/16's are being upgraded w/ GPS to GBU-48/49, Starting in 2005-2007+, for the All Weather Attack Capability.

Which is why there are USMC Photo's of GBU-16's on BRU-33/As Circa 2005 and Earlier,

Which is why USN was Not interested into Procuring BRU-55/A until Long after the initial 1st Block Production Runs. (2015-> Present).

So, We can go back and forth, as DCS Still has the Pre GPS GBU-12/16's as the GBU-12/16s in the Sim, So they could Load up dual GBU-12/16's on a BRU-33/A fine as those do not require the data bus.

But, Until E.D. Says anything, we are going back and forth on technicalities manifested by the Sim's Open Sandbox / Time frame Nature.

So it sounds like its a possible feature to be included or added at a later time given it meets the approximate timeframe of the 18 being modeled.

So since we do not have GBU-48/49 we are good, thanks.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

We shall see, there's no telling what new weapons will be added or upgraded w/ the release of the hornet.

Bbut I hope we get the Dual GBU-12/16s regardless.

It is in fact missing the LAU-116 :D

LAU-115/C, Then there's also LAU-115C w/ DUAL LAU-127 RAIL for 2x AIM-120s. and LAU-115C w/ DUAL LAU-7 RAILS for AIM-9

LAU-116/A is the Fuselage Station Launcher Mechanism.

All 3 LAU-115C Variants are in DCSW Already...

You are overlooking the answer.

Is simple. In the Early Access no 120´s. In future updates of the Hornet they will include the 120. The same 120 we already have in DCS. This doesnt mean ED is not working on improved missiles ( guidance, lofting, etc )

Likely because the radar modes for the missile wont be in early access.

Or

AIM-120's like other missiles will be getting an overhaul.
