Perhaps I should have mentioned from the above list instead of the plane itself. I know there is mission data to be loaded before flight, but what feature value would be added as far as the sim that we don't already have within the ME?

Datalink and JHMCS are at the top of my list as a VR user, followed by A/A radar modes. Then my priorities fall pretty much in line with the list

Nvidia RTX3080 (HP Reverb), AMD 3800x

Asus Prime X570P, 64GB G-Skill RipJaw 3600

Saitek X-65F and Fanatec Club-Sport Pedals (Using VJoy and Gremlin to remap Throttle and Clutch into a Rudder axis)

Man this was hard, I had to roll a d4 to choose my favourites... Ended up calling HARM since it relies little on the other mentioned options.

Targeting pod, since it opens up so much in terms of capability and gameplay.

 

HARMS are only one option in gameplay versus an array of PGM's, coupled with a capable targeting pod. Icing on the cake is a datalink which can share SPI's between players.

HARM first and foremost along with the new array of smart/guided weapons that have so far not been represented in any of the existing aircraft in DCS. Also the Air to Ground radar and the JHMCS not that the AIM-9X isn't already a beast. :thumbup:

What NEWfeature of the Hornet are you MOST looking forward to? Your input allows us to best prioritize what our customers want most.

 

New features are of course in parallel with improving and correcting existing systems. There has to be a balance of the two.

I initially selected ATFLIR becure I realized that I was wrong.

Would prefer that ED finalizes first A-A component. Radar modes, IFF as well as JHMCS.

A2G could follow then.

This was tough.. I chose Datalink.. But here's my priority list:

Alot of people keep putting datalink at the top.

 

Keep in mind that radar bricks are not sent over link-16, only trackfiles are. Meaning you wont have any fighter to fighter datalink without LTWS or TWS. You'd only get AWACS/AEGIS surveillance tracks.

How about we just get the fully functional and working F/A-18C that we PAID for?

Other game makers seem to be able to provide complete and functional software, and rectify bugs and issues..

This pre-release stuff only gives us planes to fly, not fight in, and they never seem to get finished.

you are 100% right. That's why you had the choice NOT to buy the Hornet now and wait until it is completed.

If you want a finished product, dont ever buy en early access, ever. If you do so is understanding limitations. Do not complain on what you have been warned.
