In the heat of all the comments, thread debates, and constant demands for 'when', I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to all of the great people at ED bringing this game to life.

 

 

After watching earlier communities fail and other great endeavors fall flat, or worse, close up shop never to be heard from again (MicroProse with F4 for example), I am humbly grateful for what has been done to date and for all of the hard work and care that is being taken in continuing the development of this awesome sim. I get how hard what you are doing is, and I thank you!

I’m hooked on DCS. After watching numerous videos on YouTube of different DCS players, I told myself I had to get that game. I had always dreamed of being a pilot, but unfortunately my path in life went a different direction. DCS may be as close as I’ll get to that dream. This game is amazing! Still growing my DCS hardware arsenal, and overall aptitude of the game, but I’m truly enjoying every minute of play.

Thank you DCS for a great sim! I think the majority of the community feels the same as everyone that has taken the time to post here. Unfortunately there are always going to be people you can’t please, no matter what you do. And, usually they drown the rest of us with their noise. But they are not the majority, and you are very much appreciated!
