Coxy_99 Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 Im on the game ready driver Version: 430.86 2080TI card, Im really surprised how bad it is i may even roll back a driver, 2.5.4 as said was 99% good, Maybe there are some adjustments to be made to the build who knows.
Rudel_chw Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I've only tried the VR performance ... my feeling is that it is indeed smother than previously and with better framerates .. not 50% better, but better nonetheless :D For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
RyanFlint Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I can see an increase in performance this patch by about 10-20fps, runs like butter.
Coxy_99 Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 Frames are solid, Im talking about the other stuff im seeing.
razo+r Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I have ultra extrem bad stutters from time to time which affect my whole computer. If I alt+tab out, my mouse is still moving around with those 5FPS. Makes DCS unflyable while it happens.

-Painter- Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 +1 In general it looks kinda smooth, but stutters during head-movements as if the tracking would be disturbed for a split-second constantly during head-movements. NVIDIA driver 430.86 Regards REAPER 31 | Painter [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Eldur Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 link full thread 425.31 is the best Nvidia driver ATM for DCS and many other games for Nvidia cards ;) Tried googling them after I couldn't find a way to get them directly off of nVidias site, but I just ended up on a site that has them for an Early Access product. I'd need it for a Stable branch OS instead though. Still running the 419.35 ones... Oh wait... got them via Guru3D instead now
