chrisgrind
what does it matter, even if its 70% discount, we don't have a date and we don't have a price., unless I've missed something. Lets say its 35% then people will whinge it should be more. if its 50% then people will whinge its not fair that hornet buyers get 20% more. People love to whinge around here. After what happened with the F-16 release, I am extremely hesitant to make any more Early Access purchases. There needs to be a tremendous amount of detailed information provided tomorrow before I would even think about pre-ordering. i5 7600K @4.8GHz | 1080 Ti | 32GB 3200MHz | SSD | DCS SETTINGS | "COCKPIT"

MonnieRock
At the very least before even looking at the ED store page for the Super Carrier module, expect to see a sticky in this forum section similar to this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3285514&postcount=13 Rack Rig: Rosewill RSV-L4000 | Koolance ERM-3K3UC | Xeon E5-1680 v2 @ 4.9ghz w/EK Monoblock | Asus Rampage IV Black Edition | 64GB 2133mhz | SLI TitanXP w/ EK Waterblocks | 2x Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB | Seasonic 1000w Titanium | Windows 10 Pro 64bit | TM Warthog HOTAS w/40cm Extension | MFG Crosswind Rudders | Obutto R3volution | HP Reverb

RaTzo
I'll be pre-ordering it. The reality is I'm going to own this module even if it sucks when it first comes out in EA. At some point I will buy it anyway. So I'm going to pre-order it. I hate myself for it... but hopefully it will spur on ED to make the GAME better and more complete, not just adding more and more of the (basically) the same aircraft. NeilWillis
There is a good reason for the pre-order discount. Buy, don’t buy. But we don’t need to hear about it!

ED Team NineLine Posted January 16, 2020 ED Team Share Posted January 16, 2020 It is Early Access, and of course, we only expect those that can help through development, or don't mind hiccups to take part. Nobody is forced to purchase early, but we appreciate everyone's support, no matter when they buy-in. BIGNEWY and I were testing the carrier today, and it is very cool to have the crew there moving about. Griz
Hard for me to imagine any real concern over the amount of "discount" on a $50 or $100 or whatever purchase in the context of the cost of the computer/hardware to fly these great DCS aircraft. Really? Deal breaker for some of you? Maybe just a need to be unpleasant?

Gruman
I'm looking forward to the Newsletter tonight. Would be nice to get some intel on how the different features will be implemented. Maybe a video from Wags? Well, I'm ready to purchase. I only really care about a streamlined spawning on the carrier. The rest is nice to have. Gierasimov
That was mentioned by Wags That would also be my biggest wish and hope ED said that they want to do airbase ATC and ground crew eventually. This I would believe is years out though... but who knows, as the tools developed and used for carrier ops could speed things up... We will see... PS Off-topic. Elnocho3
Substantial new model & textures, realistic comms (including LSO) coinciding with Case I/II/III ops, some deck crew. AI won't be following any of the procedures unfortunately though, so you'll be alone in the stack.
