In general built in AWACS is very bad solution. It gives you nearest bandit without any understanding if tactical situation.

The mission based 3rd party alternatives are not much better, often ruining the reality while having same issur as built in.

For 29 it would be cool to allow another player to sit inside lazur cabin.

Personally I think a player controlled AWACS station, or GCI station would be a pretty cool module in itself. Hopefully the built in AWACS gets some love with the dynamic campaign. Having a functional GCI system would be a nice feature.

From what I have read even the export versions had GCI link integration: either through indication which would show you the target with smaller circle in HUD, along it's altitude or traditional through voice communication.

I would suspect so. GCI for situational awareness was the Soviet way after all.  That would be a cool system to have in the game. It would really bring home the “full fidelity” feeling.

Hey guys!

Noob question about the German 29s: if I understand correctly, they're 9.12 models, just like the one we're getting, right? So, we could use the Luftwaffe manual to start studying the aircraft? Are there any differences? If so, what are they?

Not much difference except for western radios and imperial cockpit instruments.

Underwing fuel tanks may or may not be an option in ED model.

Manual is certainly good for general concepts, however bear in mind that G was adjusted to NATO requirements. Luftwaffe manual contains items that wil not be in DCS: Fulcrum-A

So, about the dog... must have for the FF Fulcrum static object, correct?

Can it be proofed who made the leaks?

Btw, that building in the background looks like a motel. It even have glowing sign, but I can not read it.

I want to know if FF Mig-29 will rearm and refuel with engine on like FF F-16,18,15 do right now in MP? This is a Full Fidelity feature though… as FC3 aircraft’s must engine off before rearm and refuel…

I would imagine it should be able to like any other aircraft, hot refueling and rearming is a 'thing' when necessary.

I would like know more about that in real action war. An inspection after landing is a must. Probably in real emergency situation you can skip that.
