Interactive Kneeboard Extension

Just as a little preview, next VAICOM PRO plugin update will feature a new option:

the Interactive Kneeboard extension.

 

 

This powerful tool will allow you to use the standard DCS kneeboard to have automatically scribbled down tactical data such as AWACS directives and JTAC 9-lines and remarks,

review Air Tasking Order data such as unit callsigns, frequencies, mission briefs and AOCS data, to add your own notes with voice using Dictation Mode,

and to have an on-paper keywords reference to your personalized keywords database, relevant for the category you're talking to.

Very nice indeed. Would there also be an option to change the background colour/ text colour to a light green for us night flyers so as not to be blinded - or is that the reason for the transparency slider? Is it also possible to change size and position? Thanks

The Interactive Kneeboard extension option comes with plugin update 2.5.23.

This is in final stage of preparation atm, aimed for release by end of this month.

Do you know if this will play nice with Alaskangrizzly's kneeboard builder or not?

I am not 100% certain but think they are different things. I used both kneeboard builder and a scratchpad kneeboard while flying into which I can add text using VA commands. I believe it is this latter one which Vaicom will replicate (the picture in post #1 of this thread certainly looks like it)
