xanstin Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I have tried across several instant start / cold start and custom missions and have noticed the following switches are on vs the A-10C Oxygen - ON, L&R Gen Switch - ON, LR Fuel and Booster Pumps - ON, Radar Altimeter NORM Is this by design or a bug?
llOPPOTATOll Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Its by design. Habu let ED know and they changed it.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 30, 2020 ED Team Posted September 30, 2020 As mentioned above after feedback from a real pilot it was changed thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Biga42 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 cold Start So far what I found... AC Gens are on Fuel pumps on TACAN selected in Navigation Mode Select Panel

Hamilton Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Yes will apply to normal A-10C Thanks With all due respect sir, in my opinion this change should occur in conjunction with the A-10C, I have payware Campaigns for the A-10C that I am still flying and now with A-10 II Tanker with different assigns (ie. China AFt Short) for the same command will cause confusion in my head. So I suggest that this change occurs to both versions, as soon as possible, for the people who fly the two models. Freakmeister51 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Anomolies Not so much bugs but anomalies in the cold and dark A-10C II. I notices while doing a cold and dark start that certain switches are now set to on at start. Oxygen is now on. Wing and Main booster pumps are now on at start. The Fuel display selector was selected to Wing. I don’t want to complain too much as at the end of the day, it’s up to the pilot....ie me to do a switch check. Good practice I guess but just wondered if anyone else had noticed changes in cockpit switch positions?
Yurgon Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 There's already a thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=287449 This is now properly modeled; it was wrong (ish) before.
xanstin Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Oxygen is also on by default so I assume all these as well were pilot feedback?
Foka Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 And fuel gauge selector set od third position.
Yurgon Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Oxygen is also on by default so I assume all these as well were pilot feedback? Correct.
Hog Dawg Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Switches are set that way by the crew chief prior to pilot stepping to aircraft. It is called nesting. I dont like it but it is what it is
Eldur Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) And fuel gauge selector set od third position. The weird thing is I noticed that because it didn't show my fuel qty, then I zoomed in on it to see where it was set to only to notice it sits between the actual positions and moves to other positions in between until you switch it to the left- or rightmost position and back to where you want to have it. Seems to be a bug to me. Track attached.a10c2-fuel-gauge-selector.trk Edited October 1, 2020 by Eldur
Eldur Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 [ALREADY REPORTED]Fuel gauge tank selector sitting in between positions See Report in here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4507976&postcount=16 Just posting it here again so it gets seen. Happens on cold'n'dark.
