I really think this is coming in 2022. I've seen a lot of items in a very good state already; although truth be told we've seen mostly clips of them and some YouTube tutorial, but overall:

-3D model seems ready.
-3D cockpit model ready
-A2G radar gmti and mapping modes are working (unknown state)
-Weapon control logic mostly completed based on tutorials
-Navigation system in a very good Early state
-Working A2A radar; at least RWS mode
-Wing flex, shaking and vapors are there
-Flir pod is there at least in a Alpha state, but I'm sure that will be easy given experience on the harrier litening
-TFR is there at least in Alpha state

Things I have not seen:
-Link 16
-Iff
-JHMCS

But those could come later, hell I would be fine with a first release that comes with basic A2A and only dumb bombing modes.

Maybe ED will announce something the week of Black Friday or possibly early December. On the other hand, I believe sometime in 2023 is more likely.

I agree. Even if the module is ready already, there is never enough time for testing. I'm optimistic for an early 2023 release.

No ecm but we've seen a bit of the RWR page whatever it's called in the F15E SE.

Look at 14:30 in the video when he calls up the page on the right mfd.

How's the INS in this version of the F-15E?

It has an RLG INS with Kalman filter, a software based INS-like program without filtering (mission navigator) and an EGI. With GPS available the use the EGI, without GPS or in old school scenarios the mission nav will be your primary source for navigation. The INS is still used for attitude data even in modern times.

I'm guessing it could be released in the December update. Razbam said in a podcast that it he is not allowed to speak on a release date but it will be surprisingly soon.

@VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants  While the time release information is vague, it is possible we will likely receive the f-15 before Christmas.

What's the point of this kind of speculation? "Really close" could mean lots of things.

You say it's "possible" that it's "likely" before Christmas. That statement is so vague as to be meaningless.

Nothing Mike Force Team says is meaningless.

You simply haven't learned to understand him yet. :smoke:

Apart from the fact that the statements - "probably", "most likely" are very sensible and specific, everything depends on the context in which they are found.
