What. Was. The. Old. Bullet. Count. In. The. F86?

When the patch fixes something. It might help to post what was wrong.

I've googled and not found any posts about wrong amount of ammo in the F86.

If I read it correctly, it seems like the ammo supply was set to 267 before the patch.

But I'll be able to confirm it once my update has been downloaded, or if you open the F-86.lua and look at line 9 where it says count.

F-16:

  • Fixed: Fuel leak rate after damage.

After hit, with something else than bullets from AAA, pilot still dies 9/10 times so...

pilot is very vulnerable in the cockpit in the viper, large glass canopy, and seating position makes a difference.

From the looks of it, this doesn't include MT. Unfortunately.

when we are ready we will add it, we are getting closer.

Please disregard Bignewy's comment, he's talking nonsense.

The issue is caused by the F-16C's damage model. The pilot's hitbox is defined by the entire canopy. It is the same in the F/A-18C too. Any hits to the glass cause the death of the pilot.

No worries.. I find it runs much better this update in VR than the previous version. At least for me. I did turn on options.graphics.stereo_mode_use_shared_parser = true

so I'm not sure if that added to it but I don't see any downside to having it on. If it still works as intended the lights and everything are fixed.

I get a "Not Responding" a few seconds after I'm in the main menu in VR with open composite and also with steam vr. Without VR it works.

Is there any information on the new bomb fuzes anywhere? Trying to figure out what they do and how they're different.

If its like the ww2 bombs. In the editor. When bombs are selected in the editor(or from weapons rearming screen) there's a little triangle on the bomb square. That you  an click. To select fuses that have different timers.

just bare in mind options.graphics.stereo_mode_use_shared_parser = true is very w.i.p and possibly obsolete in future versions

I can assure you the viper is more vulnerable, but no worries, you do you.

I can think of at least two different ways to make pilot death <> canopy hit, even with one hit box. E.g. you could "role a dice" when the hit box is activated to determine the injuries of the pilot. (The DM method 😁)

DCS initially launched in VR but OpenXR Toolkit config was lost! Then DCS became unresponsive. Killed the process and launched again. Loading progress stopped at %17. Killed again and relaunched. It froze at %31. Killed the process and tried without VR. Launched just fine.

Same result after a reboot and few more tries. Downgrading for now...

in this update OpenXR is natively enabled in DCS, so maybe a conflict with "OpenXR toolkit" ?

But just retested mine using open composite and openXR and all seems good for me. Please post you logs in the VR bug section we will take a closer look

No, I am running OpenXR Toolkit and had no problems.

Wait, what's this?  NVM I read up on it. Turns out it is something I used to use... maybe it's worth giving it another shot.

Would you kindly include things like that in the changelog next time?

Thank you.

Yup, I found that. I meant any documentation on the fuzes themselves.
