The DCS: F-15E Strike Eagle by RAZBAM has entered our final validation and testing phase. The pre-order, which comes with a 30% discount, is currently planned for the 15th of February, 2023. Once the pre-order begins, we anticipate the F-15E to be released into Early Access a few months later and perhaps sooner.

The above mentioned '10 Percent True' podcast series really is first class, and the best (IMHO) military aviation themed podcast available.  Steve is very knowledgeable and a great interviewer.  Highly recommended listening for any DCS'er.

"A few months"?

Yeesh!

I know right,  pre-order and few months, we're in April at best.

So F4 pre order in a few months, then release a few months after that. We're in June?

Corsair pre order in half a year than a few months, we're in October.

There's at least a 20% chance we'll be living in a post apocalyptic hell world by October,  with access to electricity and so computer time, very limited.

I wonder if we'll see four modules this year?

Only 20%?

Today, I fired up my rig, opened my browser, went to the DCS Shop site and was a little disappointed not to see the F-15E right there as expected. And I was hoping for a possible release into EA by early March. But well, I also expected that it might need more time in the oven as it's typically the case with any module, so I wasn't baffled at least. I'll drop my bits in two weeksᵀᴹ then. I guess, expecting an early access release early March then would be more than just highly optimistic, so I'd set my optimistic one to somewhere around April and my overall target to simply just Q2 for now. There's plenty of other stuff to do anyway and I'd rather it be in a good state at release. Thanks for the heads up! fsgrin.png

It will be released as part of the F-15E module. So you need to wait till the F-15E release

I strongly suspect April with the month's OB patch, as is typically done. March is too early, especially since we're currently looking at the patch very early that month. Even if it's delayed, it's unlikely there'll be late enough to get the Mudhen in. Plus, if it's as big as I think, releasing a new module in the same patch might confound things.

Do you missing CH-47D, Sinai, Marianans WW2 and others....

The release list on the last years was not bad:
- 2012: 4 (CA / P-51D / A-10C / Ka-50-2)
- 2013: 3 (FC-3 / UH-1H / Mi-8MTv2)
- 2014: 4 (Bf-109K-4 / Fw-190D-9 / F-86F / Mig-21Bis)
- 2015: 6 (L-39C/ZA / Nevada NTTR / Mig-15Bis / C-101 / Mirage2000C / Hawk Mk.1)
- 2016: 3 (Spitfire Mark IXc / F-5E / Sa342)
- 2017: 5 (WW2 Assets Pack / Chinesse Assets Pack / AJS-37 / AV-8B / Normandy WW2)
- 2018: 4 (F/A-18C / Yak-52 / Persian Gulf / J-11A)
- 2019: 7 (F-16CM /  Fw-190A-8 / JF-17 / F-14 / Christen Eable II / I-16 type 24 / Mig-19P)
- 2020: 4 (P-47D-30 / SuperCarrier / The Channel / Syria)
- 2021: 4 (A-10C-2 / de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI / Mil Mi-24P / Marianas)
- 2022: 5 (AH-64D / Ka-50-3 / Mirage F1 / MBB-339 / South Atlantic)
4,45 modules by year...

And a "plausible" list to 2023 can be F-15E / F-4E / F4-U1 Corsair / Normandy 2.0 / Sinai / Marianas WW2 / CH-47D / La-7 / F6F?

Then the odds are good.

I wouldn't mind seven releases this year. A lot of us are getting on in years, we're running out of time. 😉
