Imagine people stop buying their modules for 8 months because of the insane amount of broken promises (supercarrier, combined arms, AI updates, the list goes on) and lets see how long the train ride lasts.

As far as i know ED don`t have abandoned  planes. They  have tendency to finish them sooner or later(well maybe later). I personally don`t like attitude of some developers to us- customers. But i know one thing. The more time passes without problem  solved, the more chances that it never will. Such problems frighten off potential RB modules customers. And in some cases ED sales under threat too. And i don`t belive that RB is "angels". When you don`t get paid for you work. You will not wait for a year for some miracle. ED have some reasons to stop payments to RB. And i think that this move was carefuly thought out and comply with agreement. If RB released F-15e in state like as F-4e there will be much less questions to them.

Just in this case, the ED will have no incentive to continue working on projects. Why improve something that no one else needs and is not interested in?

More like a fully working car but there are a few rarely used buttons not working, some mix of radio and UI settings can freeze, not all features work in a dashboard computer and it's not yet compatible with some external equipment.

Rarely used buttons? Half of the systems are missing.

ED may not have abandoned planes but I do.

In some cases I’d rather they had abandoned them as when they’ve returned to look at things they’ve only made matters worse. (See Mosquito).

I bought the Eagle on release and hangared it until a few days ago. I’m wondering how far I should go into learning it since for now at least, that’s seemingly abandoned too.

More than likely, without these shenanigans I’d be learning the Phantom now but I held back from even buying it. I should be posting in threads about the F-4 and asking how I teach the back seat boy how to mow a lawn with a jet engine and not go code brown and jump out but I’m not. I have plenty to fly already but as it is ED and HB don’t have my money and I don’t have the Phantom. I’m bound to get it soon enough but I probably wouldn’t have even hesitated if I hadn’t been mugged with the Eagle. Once bitten n all that.

Supercarrier, AI updates (GFM model) continue on progress, remember the newsletters.

Supercarrier. 2024 will see continued work on the new plane director operations that move aircraft out of the landing area to a parking location. This is in addition to work on the Air Boss deck and Ready Room.

Mosquito FB VI. This year we continue working on the features from the Early access list. Including AI crew members and the Drift recorder.

Again, I know things are frustrating right now, but let's not get carried away. As we have said, the goal is to get back to normal development as soon as possible.

Forgive me but I don't believe you.
I've always read this post without ever commenting.
This phrase has been repeated for months by anyone who works in the ED.
The fact is only one! Since 04/04/24 everything has been silent.
No one has given us any updates, either on the ED or Razbam side.
It is clear to everyone that the situation is serious, but 2 months of absolute silence are unacceptable for us consumers. Personal opinion.

No, it's not. Have you even looked at what's implemented compared to what the aircraft should have? The HUD, the nav system, the TSD, the UFC, the smart weapons page each have several features that are not implemented. Datalink as a whole is not implemented. AG delivery page and the entire HAT logic is not finished. There are plenty of MPD pages that aren't present at all. Want me to list them? What about the missing weapons? GBU-15, AGM-130, Mavericks, WCMDs? Not even mentioning SDBs and the AIM-9X.

ED have taken my money and they made a commitment to deliver the F-15E. As an early access version first, but evolving to the complete version.
Any problem between ED and Razbam should not be my problem.

If ED cannot resolve the problem in an acceptable way, then they should give me credit for the full amount I paid. With that credit I should be able to buy any one of the ED modules.
I would probably use it to buy the F-4.

Also, ED should communicate to their customer base. They are totally failing in that area, and they are doing a huge disservice to themselves. They are destroying customer confidence, and that can be deadly for any business. For the time being, I'm holding back on any futher purchases.

Couldn’t have put it better myself. Then again, having already bought the F-15E and resisting the F-4, I’d still want to keep the Eagle if a swap was on the table. Maybe have a discount on the F-15 as it is, until we know if anyone’s able to maintain it?

I’m itching to grab the Phantom though.

The module is still missing plenty of basic features like INS alignment methods and TOT. It has some desynch with TGP and INS alignment.

And this is basic stuff, we can talk for days for the more complex stuff like weapons and systems missing.

Some of the "in development" feature have been there for more than 4 years. This is unacceptable from my side, selling a module with a feature set that is still in development 4 years is borderline dishonest. Imagine buying a game like "The Last of Us" where after 4 years you still can't complete the main story because "Last chapter is under development".

I was already taking a break from DCS, but after the RAZBAM affair I'm putting it on pause indefinetly and will just enjoy what I've already bought from time to time.

Sinai map is another sore eye, and the whole range of new modules being released makes me feel like ED is cashing out on us customers to get through their dire economic situation.

If reading that disappoints me, as a money paying punter, imagine what knowing that must feel like for those that worked countless hours on it?

Surely anyone would want to finish the job properly? I know I would if it had my name on it. I’m just getting into the Eagle and still have the Harrier to learn. I’d like to think something can be worked out somehow.

Many of that "features" never has been appaers on none other simulator product, and actualy, we have the more realistic representation of a Carrier Deck on a combat simulator... Remember otherwise, that technology has not only exclusive of SC, and will be used on a future to improve ground crew and bases on DCS.

Sinai map has building by a 3rd party OnReTech, no ED, and that has posted develop updates on the last weeks, include working on a "south" extension" with more airbases on the map, that continue working. That is none to do with a your "dire economic situation", dont invent false staments.

There is no dire economic situation, if you do not want to take part in Early Access then that is an option.

I don't want to have to close this thread but please stay on topic and keep the dramatics to a minimum.

With all respect @NineLine and all involved, i have to say an official word towards the community that put a lot of money in your (ED) and your 3d party official products (RAZBAM) would be respectful.

Weeks have passed and its just not fair to leave your audience in the dark for so long.

No, the problem in generell is that developer (not only ED) are releasing moduls while already existing ones have some bugs which are in the game since "ages" and are still missing certain features, systems or functionalities. Don't get me wrong. I'm with you and i'm happy about every module which joins the fleet but i somehow can understand the "other opinion".

Thanks Gizmo but all I see in the people who comes here to repeat unfounded claims that foresee the downfall of ED are only acting in bad faith and want this thread closed.

I have been frustrated with ED for so many reasons, very vocal sometimes and not allways helpfull but at the end I guess I am still able to enjoy DCS and love other people having fun with it also.

Honestly doesn't mean anything,

Raz_Specter works also for ORBX on Kola map. He's a bit on the sidelines and isn't too close to Razbam really I suppose. Can act on its own.

I get that you want information, but I would ask what would you like them to say?  "We're still in negotiations with Razbam and we're hopeful for a positive outcome"?  They've said that.  Not sure what more they *could* say.  I would think on legal grounds that lawyers on both sides would strongly advise both parties that they say more than that.  They're not likely to EVER lay out the details of the dispute publicly because that's likely covered by confidentially agreements of some sort.  So what they've said/are saying is probably literally all they can say until negotiations fail completely or come to a positive resolution.
