Have to agree with Jef, I'm looking forward to the La7 but the Hellcat will be an instant buy.  Long since given up on the Corsair as vapor ware...

Rather than post yet another non-constructive post here, I just want to express that I will happily wait until this aircraft is ready, and in the meantime simply fly something else

Not in this case, you can contact the developer of the LA7 and he will reply to you, there total is transparency.

I'll never understand that either, such a negative and defeatist attitude. Really goes beyond me how these people do survive in theirs day to day when everything in life is so wrong, bad, ugly, useless, unbearable… 🙄

 

I'm awaiting for the La-7 as much as anyone, it's a first in hardcore simulation and I want to experience that messy engine management badly. But, what the heck, I've got more things to do in the meantime while awaiting but to keep just staring at the paint dry, I don't care how long does it take the developer to get it proper for launch, when he feels it's ready it'll be ready, but not any sooner and it's fine it is like that. Otherwise who knows what problems might arise due to any rush and in the end it'd be worse than not.

And yes, this isn't the only WWII stuff we're awaiting for, but these kind of people, instead of thinking "hey, what a bunch of great stuff is about to come... it'll be great whenever we get it all", just think "how bad they didn't launch it yesterday, they've probably dropped it"... 🤦‍♂️ It's unbelievable they stand their lives at all.

Nothing is good enough with these people, they will always want more and also are entitled, and complain like if the developer owes them something.

Plenty of WWII planes to enjoy currently, enough for quite a while.

What really baffles me is whether these people are real or just bots... in social media this kind of defeatist messages has a reason, by creating polemic they got clicks and that means money. Ok, stupid they're fine with destroying the World as it is for a few bucks. But here?? A random internet forum without publicity??? What's the point? What do they gain with this attitude? I really wouldn't know... and if they're real messed up people, well... humanity is doomed... 🙄

Sorry to pick your post. Its just the last. Yes 'those' guys, being overwhelmingly negativ are annoying.

But the others, saying everything is good, are as annoying too. "Take my money, its ok, if I have to wait for 10 years. Its done when its done.  I fully understand!"

Isnt there a middleground anymore today? Just all black and white? If your only 98% with me, your an aid of the other side.

Why doesnt anyone say anymore "This guy may be a moron and his conclusions are not the same as mine, but I have to admit, he is right in bringing up this or he might have a point with that"??

Back to the topic:

Im sorry for the delay and I do understand the underlying reasons and appreciate your transparency, but I still hope you can deliver without too much delay. I dont want to wait forever and might put my money somewhere else.

It doesn't really look like the reason is simply the difficulties of development. The developers were going to release this module in the spring of last year.. Or the year before last? The developers wrote that most of the module was ready. So I honestly don't understand what's going on.

Allow me to break the prolonged silence with a few clarifying words. The delay in the module's release is currently due to addressing the shortcomings in the flight model identified during the summer certification process by ED. Otherwise, the module is largely ready for early access.

Can’t wait to get the La-7 in DCS. Trying to get used to il-2 sim but it’s just not as visually appealing and the physics is not quite there…
