Who says that new models aren't part of the "new features" to FC3 which were partly responsible for delaying it?

I think the point was, people will be seeing more Fulcrum/Flanker than Foxhound/Hornet. I agree with that, those models probably should have been priority.

And now I think I missed the point of what you were saying. Though ED made it sound like new models would take too long to implement, so unless it was a case of new Russian fighter models in the works prior to FC3 announcement, I'm doubtful.

I completely concur. I mean its an awesome model.. But honestly can't even tell difference to the original lock on model. It was great to begin with.

 

It just is even more frustrating that we still have to use the crappy flanker and fulcrum models. If there is time to do this, why not work on enriching FC3 features by adding flanker, fulcrum and mud mover 6dof cockpits. And please don't say it takes an year to do a cockpit.

As we got the Hornet and Foxhound with 1.2.1 - silently and suddenly ;) - perhaps we will get some new models with FC3 also - yes, hoping Fulcrum, Flanker, Viper, Tomcat :thumbup:

First, we need to define which version of MiG-31 it is (in 1.2.1)

 

I think it's a B or a BM version but also should be great to see (from the 3D artist) an M version which can carry 6*R-37s and R-77s

- but yes we can put on R-37s also if we "reactivate" it in some lua files.

 

BTW: do you know who is the 3D artist ? (i guess GK) and which external fuel tank used for MiG-31s ? 2000kg, 3000kg ?
