Eagle Dynamics is European correct? Isn't their release day Thursday for all media? Kinda like Tuesday is the USA's release day? Could this mean today is the big day?

Eagle Dynamics is European correct? Isn't their release day Thursday for all media? Kinda like Tuesday is the USA's release day? Could this mean today is the big day?

 

While still possible, I would doubt it at this point. There are still some significant bugs to resolve that are taking far longer to fix than we expected when the press release was made. As always, release dates are always a best estimate, and sometimes factors like testing do not cooperate.

I don't beleive ED follows trends like that. DCS Mustang was released on a Sunday (GMT).

I'm buying this game no matter what. I was thinking (yeah I'm thinking.lol) it would be nice to be able to pre purchase the game cause I'm worried I won't have the money when it comes out.lol(the joys of owning your own business in a small town.lol)

so, i waited now 28 days for the release and tomorrow i will leave for 2 weeks. Please, DCS do me a favor and do not release by tomorrow, i would pick up the news while facing south for vacation and my wife would kill me when i turn the car around on the highway and heading home for some A-10C kills.

 

So hopefully the new release date will be the 15th July.

And now its better for me to leave before u guys hunt me down with AAA.

Ehm, you might want to talk to your hardware vendor about that. ;) A userland application cannot BSOD your computer, only drivers (if running in kernelspace), the OS itself, and hardware faults, can do that.

I look at it this way. Pre-ordering helps ED to gauge product demand and influences decisions about how to allocate resources. If it's clear that there's strong demand for a product before its official release, then perhaps ED will invest more resources in marketing and developing it.
