Regamuffin Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I dont understand the military style on this forums?? As soon as someone asks for a little information on a module which they are going to invest money in and have invested money in ED lets remember that. All of a sudden out the wood work comes the forum police that are not actually forum mods and shut people down! There is no need for this! People are just interested in a module and want to support the development so what's a friendly little how's things going guys question?!..... 1 Reg:pilotfly:
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted March 26, 2016 ED Team Posted March 26, 2016 Polychop have given us updates and video, but we still have some users who want dates / time-frames when we don't have them available for the public. As mentioned ED will communicate release dates when it is ready to. As per the forum rules forum moderation is not for public discussion, if you wish to discuss the forum please PM a moderator who will be happy to help. Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Pikey Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 you have had your answer, ED will communicate release dates when it is ready to, and not before. Can we move on now? This is neither the answer from whom I asked, or the main point of my posts with regards to consistency of updating. If by 'moving on' you mean you are looking to divert the topic of conversation onto something else, I'd love to have "the consistency conversation" in another thread, but I'm quite sure it will get moved to chit-chat forums like I've seen before. The conversation about consistency of communication was very specific, aimed at reducing forum questions like release dates and is very relevant to both this thread and the developer and the context and the timing. What wasn't relevant was the reaction to the comments without reading their substance. They are generally waved away and (@BIGNEWY) you picked out my one throw away line with the smiley about the release date and either ignored or chose to ignore the remainder of my communication, presumably as you you didn't read what it was about. I'm happy to not talk about developer communication as long as the constant replies to it can agree that it can be improved and that generally, if there is a consistent approach to communicating, it is beneficial to all in reducing queries and heading off repeat questions? ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted March 26, 2016 ED Team Posted March 26, 2016 Feel free to make a new thread so we do not tie up polychops thread any further, but as you have suggested it never ends well and gets moved to chit chat. schroedi Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 Will there be any additional weapons later after release (like Mistral A/A missles, SNEB 68mm rockets or gun pods) or is the HOT3 the only weapon the SA342M will have?
SpaceCroissant Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) If I remember correctly Polychop have expressed the desire to release variants, but don't currently have the license to do so. I hope that's something we'll see in the future! Edited March 26, 2016 by SpaceCroissant
Pat01 Posted March 27, 2016 Author Posted March 27, 2016 Hello Gents Happy Easter to everybody, we are on vacation for the Easter hollidays. We do plan more weapons than the HOT and are working on them already, although only the HOT version will be available at release. We will update the gazelle weapons step by step for free after the release. About licenses, we got an official approval by the manufacturer AIRBUS HELICOPTERS, which should answer the license question.

King_Hrothgar Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Thanks for update, really looking forwards to it all. :)
microvax Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Thx for the update, great news in case of the license ! The Tiger would be awesome beyond believe, but I really doubt the Tiger is going to come. Its just too new, too classified I guess. But IF I would not even be able to choose a version. The german one is surpreme in optics, its said by the army that its magnification is sufficient to read Car license plates easily from 8km range, and ideal for popup attacks since the rotormounted sight. But it misses the chin-cannon. But whatevar, looking forward to gazelle and le flying tiger. :))) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] *unexpected flight behaviour* Oh shiii*** ! What ? Why ? What is happening ?
Valinor Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Was hoping to get my eager hands on it by Easter, but i guess i'll have to wait some more :(
