DCS World 1.2.1, Now Available

Excellent news !!!.

 

I'm currently running zzz space sound mod and also Mustangs high.lua mod.

 

I'm just wondering how will the auto updater function cope with modified installations of world ?.

 

Would a modified installation fail an integrity check or will the auto updater just overwrite everything regardless ?.

The High.lua in 1.2.1 is now identical to the mod you were using, so no need for that anymore ;)

 

As for the auto updater, it'll place any mods into a backup folder within the DCS directory (ie backup001) so nothing gets deleted by patching, the user then has the choice (at his or her own risk) of copying the modded files back into their respective folders if they wish.

Vikhrs are definately fixed, there will be many other fixes in 1.2.1 that haven't made it into the changelog ;)

 

Oh also, be sure to check out the improved missile smoke and contrail effects, no more paper tissue when viewed at wide FOV :D

No.... Just un-install everything and then reinstall 121 and you will be fine :)...

Well, what about the shutters? I´ll be finally able to play DCS World with Track IR without those damn shutters and odd lags? Because me and other players already tryed everthing with no sucess. Now I´m praying that this patch have some kind of optimization.

The detail is invredible. Armor plates on the forward fuselage will jiggle around as it moves. Awesome!

Roughly are all the patches from Mustang included in this 1.2.1?

I can just think of the broken sound in ME and missions as well as the missing armed structures such as the watch towers?

Enter the key. It'll then tell you "hey, you're already activated" and let you pass.

No its not, I just checked at star force proactive, activation for P51 is used at Oct 01 2012 12:25 and there are 8 activations left now.

 

Same for A-10C

 

Well you started with nine so what's the issue?

Looks like you deactivated or somehow the sim got deactivated, but Viper does have a point, if the game is activated you should have at most 8 activations left, so all is good

 

I believe you get 9 activations, not 10
