  2. Will the keybinds for the A-10c II ever be updated to include UP and DOWN options for various switches, for example, radio dials, the landing/taxi lights switch, anti-skid switch and many others. This would make binding to momentary switches and rotary dials much more usable. It seems the more recent modules have this functionality.
  3. Shame. Looking at the naval module line up the 1980's configuration would work quite well.
  4. Thank you so much ED, for this wonderful patch and for your continued hard work to improve DCS. Yes, sometimes there is a problem, but lately, after every patch I always have a great desire to fly. Thanks again.
  5. Sorry, I din't save a track file. This happens often. I did not figure the pattern. If I repeat the same mission it may or may not happen. I'd guess it has to do with the way and time we (player) are in the runway before taking off. A side note: in the missions where we land and takeoff at Abbeville the ATC (at Abbeville only) does not respond.
  6. I think you got great answers from @HE5405 and @Rudel_chw. As I mentioned in the FAQ, I've made sure that the internal IDs are different (as well as the names displayed in the menus). Also worth noticing is that the new core assets are named and sorted like EDs core assets, with the asset type first, for example: MBT T-90A [CH].
  7. rgr....here's the track. I think you can see what Im getting at...it happens at towards the end. LastMissionTrack.trk
  8. It is reported still, and I have bumped the issue internally. Thanks
  9. Hi PC, I only have one instance of Voice Attack running and it is up to date (I have attached a screenshot of my installed apps). At this point, unless you have other suggestions, I will probably uninstall Vaicom Pro and reinstall/reconfigure (Ugh!). Thanks for your persistence! Apps-Installed Apps.pdf
  10. I'm not CH, but the old Mod Packs are still fully compatible with the newly added CH assets added to the DCS core. The latter are stored on this path: Within the Mission Editor there is no assets conflict, as the older Mod assets have names staring with a [CH] prefix ... while the assets built into DCS have [CH] as a suffix.
  11. Hello, Just out of curiosity, how many hours and what are your stats in MiG? I only fly SP and I try to simulate ČSLA (or VVS) training accurately, I have created my own training map and so far it looks like this:
  12. Currenthill has already covered what to do in his FAQ. The answer is nothing. The new assets are added with a different naming convention. The “core” ones have the [CH] suffix instead of a prefix. So if you have all the assets installed you will essentially have 2 version now, the core versions and the mod version. He has said over time he will start to remove the units that become core from the packs so in future there is no duplications.
  13. Hello, first sorry for my broken english. Today's release should have fixed RSBN navigation for the MiG-21Bis in the Germany map. However, I don't have the feeling that it would work. For example, Damgarden has channel 32 and it doesn't work. The far and near beacons work properly. Do you have the same problem? best regards
  14. Thanks to @Ivandrov, @Northstar98 and @Zabuzard for the quick help. That clears up my confusion and I'll try to do better
  15. I'm not sure. I believe the dead zone settings on the Special Menu are for the MFSS version of the Winwing stick (or others with similar function.)
  16. Regarding the later part. There's a lot that is still wrong about the interaction between radar contributed and non radar contributed MSI trackfiles right now (they are effectively still 2 separate trackfile entities to the system) so there's going to be a lot of weirdness in the symbology and undesignate/RSET/switching logic. Majority of the major issues has been reported internally already. The team just needs to make the fixes.
  17. The most likely solution is ED creating a global map. I know it was mentioned in the 2025 above and beyond video. Since then, no new updates.
  18. This is still a problem, even after running a repair.
  19. Hi, yes its going to be great especially for the PTO. We do not have any dates to share currently, for now we have announced our plans and work is in progress. thank you
  20. Uncheck the historical switch on the bottom of the screen and the units will appear. I've seen all of them already in the editor. It is indeed a bug with the clock switch for historical units being checked on, perhaps.
  21. Please CH what we have to do if we have already installed your mods ?
  22. As title says, if you touch elevation and then try to FACQ a MSI target, whether it's set to L+S or not, it will try to acquire the target at current elevation. If you don't touch elevation since spawn, the function works as intended. Also, as seen in the "FACQ_wo_moving_elevation.trk" track, TDC depress to designate MSI targets and NWS to switch MSI targets seem to work only periodically. FACQ_wo_moving_elevation.trk move_elevation_then_FACQ.trk
  23. I like the corsair but the zero was my fav.
  24. Alright... now if we use the new CTLD in MOOSE (instead of depending on MIST and using the old script) I don't get All Cargos menu. If I turn off MIST, Moose does well but no All Cargos menu. Olympus, however, might be running mist as well. You'd think Moose would overwrite anything troubling. But why does the new CTLD shut down the dang menu?! Anyone around to help? Lmk. ty.

  26. The AI “breaks the laws of physics” only to the extent that the input data it is given contradict the laws of physics and basic common sense. For example, take the AI’s data set for the F4U-1: A zero-lift drag coefficient CD0 of 0.0155? Even the P-51 Mustang did not achieve such a figure. CD0 of 0.018 at Mach 0.8 is pure fantasy for a straight-wing aircraft — as is a maximum CLC_LCL of 1.0 at M=0.8M = 0.8M=0.8. Such numbers are physically unrealistic because straight wings experience strong compressibility effects as they approach transonic speeds: drag rises sharply, and the maximum achievable lift coefficient drops well below subsonic values. Assigning these “perfect” transonic coefficients effectively gives the AI a wing that defies real aerodynamic limitations. The value of the induced drag quadratic coefficient in this data set is more in line with that of a low–aspect-ratio wing, such as on a MiG-21. A value of 0.09 is far from what an aircraft with a straight wing of the Corsair’s aspect ratio should have. What’s fed in is exactly what it flies with. This is data from a well-known U.S. NACA report, showing the variation of maximum lift coefficient (CLmaxC_{L_{max}}CLmax) with Mach number for several aircraft types and wing configurations, based on both flight tests and high-speed wind tunnel measurements.
  27. Is there a drag/weight penalty with the fairing?
