DCS isn't even remotely a good software for handling complex graphics. In fact, even if you have the best graphics card and the best processor, it will always present these kinds of problems because, I suspect, everything hasn't been synchronized properly in its programming. Furthermore, when you connect to multiplayer, all the frame rates are thrown off. This last point shouldn't be the case. DCS shouldn't influence a user, no matter how bad their connection is, and slow down my FPS. Having said all that, your problem could come from where your data disk is located; Windows access, other interfering programs, or external software accessing the same disk could be the cause. Here's what I can think of offhand based on what you're saying. Best regards.

Probably none of them, but engine management wise it's obviously something relatively close to P-47 and F4U. I don't think any of the others would be anything even vaguely similar to compare to. -

Is there any way to stop the constant spinning view in encyclopedia? I know it stops when you click on the view but it starts again when you view the next model. I would like to stop it by default.

No. If you've read the thread title, it should be obvious that the thread is about the issue of taxiing with diff breaking. Relevance of wind to taxiing and how it inaccurately aggravates the issue, as discussed at length above, is clear. Feel free to disagree, but unauthorized thread policing is not appreciated. Edit: For further clarity, crosswind is raised as a contributing factor to the problem, not as the sole cause of the issue. Just in case it is not crystal clear. -
Actually just checked the mission and in AG2 the laser code is set to 1686 on the APKWS 151's so they wont hit the targets as well. Change it to 1688.

I am working on updating a few under the hood changes, progress is slow due to job requiring me to leave for remote locations where internet is often non-existent, as well as closing on a new home. I'm still also trying to fully traceback and eliminate some multi-threading desync/permissions issues w/ some of the scanning functions. Current Hill's assets are in game content, integrated into the game. Prior they were a mod, that's still in game content via module that uses DCS Modulization infrastructure. My Launcher is an external application, and doesn't fully integrate with any DCS functions at all, so two entirely different scenarios, however, one could use my launcher regardless of DCS version and bypass the built in ED Launcher if they choose.

You can still do a case 1 recovery but to my knowledge there is no way of doing comms with the LSO. At least not in the current version. So just do it in silence. Also, a note to the devs: the T-45 has a yaw damper with a turn coordination function which means the aircraft in real life shouldn't require any pedal input for coordinated turns. The one in DCS requires a boot full to keep it coordinated. Whilst I appreciate the extra challenge in making the aircraft more "hands on" I hope the devs correct this to reflect real-world behaviour

Do you run SRS at all? I tend to find running SRS alongside dcs will cause this exact same crash, When not running srs it loads straight in without hanging on post net start. Hope this helps or a clue no i dont have logs as i have dcs uninstalled. -

this happened twice in a row in this mission. hot start on ground, short flight in freezing temperature, engine degrade and subsequent damage beyond repair and prop seizure. engine_degraded.trk

Both have the wrong frequencies listed in the briefings, the FAC is listed as 131.5 in the briefing but is actually on 133.5. The second mission with the UAV is listed as 225 in the briefing but is actually on 255. Hope this helps

В модуле AH-64D это Панцирь-С1, например. От типа пилотируемого нами пипелаца зависит.

Generally, you should fly the MiG-29 with the metric system for obvious reasons. Even the planes used by the GDR were Soviet-style. This means that if someone changes metric to imperial and the cockpit to English, it's a form of fake (for example, even Iranian MiG-29s had Cyrillic characters in their cockpits). It's like having to fly an F-16 in the metric system because I know it better. I propose 3 rules: 1/ keep it real 2/ learn and develop 3/ be ambitious

Thanks for posting your settings. If this really solve the problem, then that's good. I have tried today to get rid of the veil/square - whatever we can call it - today. I noticed one thing, sharpening seemed to make it worse. So, I turned off sharpening in DCS settings, and that helped quite a bit. Now I almost have to look for it. I still have sharpening i Tallymouse quadview tool - without it the picture quality takes a hit. Not in the cockpit as much but outside when looking at the landscape. I see you also have Anisotrophic filtering at x4. I have at 16. Maybe that's makes a difference? Anyway, here are my settings that makes the problem less visible. Also, certain lighting conditions makes the square more or less visible.

Good day to all. I don't know if this is the right place to write about the problem I encountered. While playing the campaign F-16C Last Out: Weasels over Syria II I noticed that the FPS doesn't go above 30-40 frames, and the video card load doesn't exceed 20-30%, the processor 50%. And in one of the missions (9) while approaching the coast of Israel, the FPS starts to drop. At waypoint 6 over Israel in flight, during descent, the FPS drops to 12-18 frames, on the monitor it looks like a slideshow, and the video card load is 2-15%, the processor 50%, in general, flying near the ground becomes impossible. But as soon as you pause the mission, the picture becomes soft and smooth, the FPS rises to 200 frames, the load on the video card (GTX 1070) is 80%, on the processor 60-70. It is not clear why this happens, it is a bug in the mission file, or the Syria map, or the DCS in general. If anyone has encountered this and knows a solution, please help. Проходя компанию F-16C Last Out: Weasels over Syria II я обратил внимание, что ФПС не поднимается выше 30-40 кадров, а загрузка видеокарты не превышает 20-30%, процессора 50%. А в одной из миссий (9) при подлёте к побережью Израиля ФПС начинает падать. В путевой точке 6 над Израилем в полёте при снижении, ФПС падает до 12-18 кадров, на мониторе это выглядит как слайд шоу, а загрузка видеокарты при этом 2-15%, процессора 50%, в общем у земли полёт становится невозможным. Но как только ставишь миссию на паузу, картинка становится мягкой и плавной, ФПС вырастает до 200 кадров, нагрузка на видеокарту (ГТХ 1070) 80%, на процессор 60-70. Почему так происходит, не понятно, это баг файла миссии, или карты Сирии, или в целом ДЦС. Если кто то сталкивался с этим и знает решение, прошу помочь.
