In VR it's not so great actually. Compared to the F15E that is. I tend to leave it off where in the eagle i almost always use it.

Following the procedure from the manual, I cannot acquire a lock using the Lock On/NWS button. Master Arm on Radar in Illuim mode RAD Mode Inboard Missiles selected Span adjusted to target size Bandit strobes visible (single 3-dot line) Position Target acquisition box over strobe Press Lock On/NSW Nothing happens. I can only get locks using IR missiles with Optical Electronic sight. Radar will not lock.

I've renamed the mission editor folder to MissionEditor.old and my secondary shadows were already off and still no getting into DCS. Edit: I even removed the MissionEditor folder completely from my Saved Games folder. Still nothing...

Maybe a dumb suggestion, but on the new pc did you remember to set your resolution to include the total screenspace of all screens? And in the VR settings, check the box for “use system resolution”? Your monitor file looks to be fine. Exports still working fine in 2d for me, haven’t tried mixed reality for a long while, but I kept screenshots of my settings I used to make it work.. I will post them up a bit later on.

The actual amount, is rather irrelevant in itself. What is important, is the amalgamation of aircraft design, mission and ultimately execution. For reference, SR-71 had loads of fuel (140k lbs as I remember). However, if you watch a interview with any former of its pilots, they all state very clearly, that for the pilot, the main task was to fly such that you were fuel efficient. Often, the success of a mission, and safe return depended on whether the pilot was able to have the aircraft consume less fuel by adjusting the intake spike geometry, speed and altitude for a more optimal flight profile. Hence, what I'm saying is that you are having a wrong mentality with regards to the MiG-29. It can perform CAP for a good amount of hours, however, given the limited number of weapons and how they are deployed, it ought to be thought of as a interceptor, with a typical combat radius of no more than 200km (this also depends, it's normally a function of how far it is inbetween nearby airfields). When you then consider that you can pull at least 1200km (internal fuel only) at a high-high-high profile, then 200km, even 600km combat radius is not bad at all. There are also immense benefits of such an airframe. You will never really end up in a A-A engagement feeling that you are overweight (unless kitted out for A-G). Should you have "too much fuel", kick in the AB and, just like Su-27, see the engines make you lighter faster and more agile at a faster rate, than your opponent. Then again, stick to what you are meant to do. In a A-A configuration, you often don't need AB to outmatch your opponent. You use it, only to handle the threat in the shortest amount of time possible. A bit of practice, and you'll see what I mean

The true reason is simple. M61A1 Vulcan Cannon. Either that or Pulse doppler filter module. Navy chose bigger antenna of the radar and look down shoot down capabilities, since they were interested more in A2A performance of F4. Airforces wanted something else, and they have an ammo box instead of Doppler module. That is one of the reasons, why whole front end of F-4 of Navy is different.

Here are some screenshots of my first try to create a thunderstorm at Marianas map, following those settings from user files descriptions: so I added Scattered Thunderstorms 2 preset. nullNo re-shade no enhancements, no bs!

Seems to be a hobby amongst some to trash the Kola map. I have no idea why. It's a gorgeous map and I really enjoy it. Next Steam sale is in nine-days, that means a DCS sale as well. Good time for those who don't have it to grab the Kola map.

Ребята. Планки на ПНП это не директора. Белы шкалы слева и сверху на авиагоризонте это тоже не директора. Это указатели отклонений от равносигнальных зон курса и глиссады, их ещё называют «планки-повторители» курса и глиссады. Директора - это желтое перекрестие планок посередине КПП, которые сейчас не работают. Они встают в середину, когда, по мнению САУ, самолёт имеет заданный крен и тангаж для выхода на заданную траекторию и её последующему выдерживанию. В то время как планки-повторители показывают степень отклонения от заданной траектории. Немножко разные вещи.

DCS works fine as long as I don't cold start the F-16. Whenever I move from off to idle detent, DCS crashes. Sometimes it crashes. It's as soon as I click the start 2 switch. It works fine as long as I do not cold start. I tried to repair multiple times. I have never experienced this issue before.
