R27R/ER lose track if you enter memory Mode
AeriaGloria replied to GRY Money's topic in Su-27 for DCS World
But wouldn’t it send out pseudo CW and datalink at same time? I don’t see why it would separate them -
Is the Water Injected WEP modeled or not? (Question to the Devs)
-Rudel- replied to peachmonkey's topic in Bugs and Problems
Once I have all the info from the programmers, I'll be making a small post update regarding WEP. -
It's happening to players too.

hmm, we'll check this again.

3D Bug: Folded right wing, aileron control rod protrudes
-Rudel- replied to correca's topic in Bugs and Problems
It should move, but not through the wing Already reported and fixed on our side. -
I have a feeling their focus is on MSFS and DCS is put aside (again I am making assumptions) but we did pay for the product license. And support should be provided if the product is being sold; revenue is still being generated (even if it is small).

I think it might just need 'bedding in' with usage. I have two bases that are smooth as butter, although tbh I didn't really notice 'stiction' as such when I bought them. It took a while to find just the right amount of friction with the allen key though and it needed retightening over time. Give it time, it'll be fine.

Hi all, I have a real issue with the speed that the heading and course bugs rotate on the Orion2 base, specifically in the F-4E. I end up having to spin it wildly to get it moving at a decent speed. Then it overshoots and I have to wait for it to finish before I can roll it back. I get so frustrated that I end up having to dial it in onscreen using the scroll wheel, which works fine. Is there a way to fix this or is this a firmware/Winwing support question? I have the speed dialled up to max (5) in SimApp Pro, but it needs to go higher. Cheers, Tm P.S. Do Winwing monitor this forum?

Uncage and SEAM is not the same thing though. I.e. as I understand you have to lock first, then uncage. In planes without SEAM (like the F-1?) an un-locked and un-caged seeker just floats randomly around IMHO.

As many other users of the Winwing Orion2 throttle, the friction is either too strong, or too less, so in the ends, the weight off the throttle heads is mowing it to the very end (no or full power). Especially the right stick, as it is the most heavy. And another thing, and the most frustration one is then you haven’t touched the throttle in a few minutes maybe, it feels like it sit tight, and you have to use extra power to move it again.

Copied the Tutorial miz and started the mission, selected F-16. The Instructor greets me and all is well, until I power up the batteries (or ground power) and use F-10 to the INSTRUCTOR menu and click the 'Ready' option. (EDIT: I have tried this both with, and without, adjusting the UHF frequency.) At this point, the Instructor "stops talking", as there are no further instructor voice sounds, no top-left closed caption text other than "Acknowledge using the F-10 menu" prompt in the top right. I do not get the Radio Check prompt. I wait a full minute, then click 'Instructor > 2' and things seem to continue, but still no sound files. Eventually, the graphic of the COMMS LADDER kneeboard page comes up, so things seem to be progressing in the tutorial despite me not being able to hear the instructor. When I adjust to PRI 11, I hear the ATIS recording. Tried to jump into the Discord to see if there were FAQs on this, but the first post Discord link is expired again.

@spacefox I bought it when it wasn't on sale, for the full price, intentionally, to support the product, cause I really liked it during the test-drive (trial period). So, let's hope we get an answer. The developer is usually very responsive, but doesn't looks like they interested in developing this one...

Your going to find it particularly hard to breath if dropping HALO troop and not on oxygen, which is another reason to wear helmets. IIRC USAF and USMC/USN pilots wear HGU-55/P helmets when flying 'tactical' sorties, night low level ops or high level with the ramp open. The RAF crews shown above also fly with helmets on for this reason. When they flew 'trash hauler' missions they just wore headsets, just like you've experienced at DM.

Well, that's early access for you. Myself, I'm not buying anything until I work through my considerable singleplayer backlog. Given that I'm on a break from DCS lately, this will likely be a while. After that, I will catch up on campaigns for modules that I already own, and then, I will start thinking about buying something new. I'll probably miss out on the 30% discount for the MiG-29, but I'm on Steam, so if I have it at all it'll be a very narrow window. If I happen to have enough money freed up I might go for it, but in this economy I probably won't.

Ralfi isn't airline crowd, though. That's Tricker (pretty sure I know which airpline he flies for) and Casmo (former KW and Apache guy, now flies charter 737 I believe) and other cool kids like BluGames. I think Ralfi is still in school studying engineering. Low confidence in the veracity of that. I think he tried to go military a few years ago but something went awry. crappyity vision perhaps?

Wondering is there a way to set the max frame rate to 72, to match my VR headset. The GUI only allows increments of 5. ?

they do just what every major game developer has been doing for the last 15 years; one should be happy about the fact they dont do micro transactions, but at the very least you see results in a month by month basis, AND they keep the update roadmap transparent. Id rather learn the half baked modules on a cup-by-cup basis rather than the whole firehose all at once.

+1 And yet here we have ED releasing half baked modules like there is no tomorrow. I have eated enough half bakering to not buy anythng else
