  2. JaboG35 Bericht der Woche 20.09.2025 - Sonnenaufgänge genießen Auch diese Woche waren wir aktiv und haben in zwei Sorties unsere Ziele im Training vorangetrieben. Beide Sorties diese Woche fanden in die EDR18 Range bei Paderborn statt, und in beiden haben wir wieder einmal den Tanker im der JOJO ARA besucht. Auch haben wir das neue SPLIT HI/LO Angriffsprofil im Level Release getestet und probiert, ob es sich ohne Steigflug für einen Angriff auf Überwasserschiffe eignen könnte. Nach dem Einholen von Feedback zu diesem Versuch kann sich sagen lassen: Ja, das SPLIT HI/LO Profil ist für diesen Zweck durchaus geeignet und es behält auch ohne den Pop Up seinen primär positiven Effekt des Angriffs von zwei aus fast entgegengesetzten Richtungen bei. Ebenfalls nennenswert waren die zwei PAR talkdown Approaches die wir mit einem unserer talentierten ATCler von den Digital Controllers durchgeführt haben. Er hat uns gekonnt wie die Nadel durch den Heuhaufen geführt und gleich 4 verschiedene Controller Positionen eingenommen (EDSP TWR, Eifel App, EDR18 RCO, TXC2). Flüge bei denen wir so einen motivierten und aufmerksamen Controller an unserer Seite haben sind immer etwas besonderes für uns und wir freuen uns ihn bald wieder begrüßen zu dürfen! "Keep your radar off so you know when to turn 180 and bravely run away towards friendly SAMs until there's no more lock tone" is not a gameplay experience I'm likely to recommend a friend pay $80 USD for. I very much WANT to get friends to buy this module, but if it ain't fun, they're not going to be buying it.

  7. Cool, I have set it up for Gudauta (two-way) now and everything works. But when the switch in my previous screenshot is set to 'auto', it seems to never switch to landing-assist mode. If I flip the switch manually it does work, but the description in the cockpit says that it should switch over automatically. What are the conditions for the MiG-29 to switch over to landing mode?
  8. Bin playing with the Mig-29A, and really loving it... ... BUT it would be really realy nice if a K version could be added (or sold seperatly) The K version is the maritime version (like most of you know) with a reinforced frame and gear, better radar , improved smokeless engines ... and is able to do aerial refueling. It feels like a bit of a wast not to be able to the hook this baby up with a IL-78D at FL300
  9. That's all well and good, but many/most of us are forced to fly lone-wolf precisely because we don't have the time to commit to a virtual squadron. If a module is only fun for guys in a squadron with a GCI... well, that's a niche market within a niche market.

  11. We're looking at the same document then regarding STT logic. But it specifically mentions in earlier pages that during sparrow launches it will run burst ranging logic in PDI until the sparrow is launched and then burst ranging logic is inhibited. During that time it's fully using the higher duty cyle HPRF. In either case in my opinion, there is enough of a difference here to indicate that a sparrow launch from an APG-73 would be picked up by RWR's, at least more advanced western varieties. I suspect it may be a delayed reaction thing where the RWR recognizes a mode change when the expected interval burst ranging didnt happen. -Yes the non-range gated HPRF is used in velocity search. But it's going to be recognized as a search by a scan rate -Yes STT uses-non range gated HPRF, but it does periodic "supersearch" rasters with MPRFLU burst ranging at specific intervals. -During illumination. It's staring directly at the target using high dutiy cycle HPRF with no change in waveform until impact. No MPRF waveform is used during this time.
  12. Even when it works, SPO15 gives too many false and meaningless warnings. It is as useless as the SPO10 (the one used in the Mig21, Mi24) at this time.

  16. Если речь о ffbeast то отключаем все эффекты кроме directx ffb и ослабляет демпферы практически до 0. Методом проб и ошибок установил что демпфера 15% вроде как позволяют пройти проверку асу.

Правильнее будет сказать, закрылки поддавливаются скоростным напором т.к не имеют замка выпущенного положения и где то на скорости 440 набегающий поток начинает продавливать гидроцилиндр ( где то выше я приводил график зависимости угла от скорости) Но это не СОС-3 ими управляет, она скорее управляет выпуском носков ну и толкает РУС для предотвращения дальнейшего увеличения угла атаки и сваливается. По крайней мере я так понял информацию со скринов.

  19. Taxiing (4-wheel) is strange… Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn’t. 4-wheel – LCT auto, AFCS off, and doing it really slowly (2–4 kts). For the steering knob I use the twist axis on my joystick. Sometimes it just keeps turning or refuses to turn, and I have to completely stop and start again. About a 60–70% success rate… 2-wheel seems to work for me, I do it the same way as you, only using a little bit less aft cyclic trim (between 1.5–2 inches; when I use 2 inches, I just go backwards, but it can be my mystake) for the initial “front lift.”

  22. Hi, I can't fly the new high-fidelity MiG-29, only the FC3 one. Does anyone know how to configure it? Or maybe it hasn't been added yet. Thanks!
  23. Dont know about the procedures, but I will test the electric system updates as soon as I have free time available, in particular I want to see if these bugs have been solved: I will report my findings on those threads. Also, grateful for your hard work keeping the manual updated. Eduardo
