    This is a bit strange. I only had one icing problem this campaign, but it was clearly my fault because I hadn't turned on the pitot tube heater. I turned it on in flight, and after a while, everything was fine.

    This has nothing to do with specific aircraft and is an issue across all aircraft. With the new SA-11 missile aerodynamics it meant it could engage targets beyond the range at which the radar was detectable on RWR. The rwr detection range (so to say) was increased last update, but not increased enough. Provided you are flying high and fast enough, the range at which the SA-11 can engage you is still longer than the range at which it becomes detectable on RWRs, so until you get closer to the SAM you will not get a warning. This issue is reported to ED.

    I normally turn them on on the ground too, and never had problems with it before this mission. Because it did give me problems the first time around, I decided to turn them on immediately after gear up, and that’s when I lose an engine. I’ll try one last time tomorrow, but frankly this is getting annoying

    At what point do you turn on the anti-icing system and pitot tube heater? I always do this on the ground, before turning off the AI-9, and I have no problems during flight. I checked the manual today; the anti-icing system and pitot tube heater turn on at temperatures of +5°C and below.

    I could be misremembering this but on the real jet, it blinks when you are near the limit, so the pilot can correct... and not when you pass it and lost the missile.

    Seconding what Volator said, nice work sniffing this one out @xray20. Looks like this one is from 1998. I don't know if it is an exact match for every airfield on the CW Germany map but it's damn close. Notice also, how in this one they already renamed the Taxi ways on Ramstein AB to a lettered format compared to the numbered way they did in the examples from the late 80s I have found so far.

    They're probably aware, but it's not just Winwing. It seems to be an issue with how Windows handles rapid DirectInput inputs. For Winwing to fix it, they'd have to code some sort of solution when turning an encoder quickly enough registers as a continuous press instead, but this would have to be on the device side, before the input is sent. I don't know if other encoders from other brands act the same, but IIRC my Arduino-based control panel had to handle a similar problem.

    Yes, though not for the F-16.( I actually did not realize this was in the F-16 bug session until now so this may be slightly out of place) For the FC3 F-15C, I am using a clickable cockpit mod and for the HB F-14, I am using a clean cockpit labels mod. Neither of these jets gave me an RWR warning (in the multiplayer server and once in singe player) when the SA-11 fired on me. I am also not getting consistent launch warnings in the Hornet either. What I have experienced is that the SA-11 will launch and then mid flight, I will get a launch warning. I guess this is somewhat better though (and perhaps even intended)? In the meantime, I will do a repair and see what happens.

    If I recall, the min left fuel in tank in 1400 lbs to be able to refuel to max possible (quantity depends on number of external tanks). If you have lets say 1500 lbs left, you will be missing 100 lbs of fuel after refueling.

    A lot of Eagle Dynamic videos lately have had a night vision filter from a spectator view. Is that going to be a feature in the near future or is the video maker using a export method? As a "content creator" I would love to have this feature as most of my missions are at night but YouTube makes night videos almost unwatchable. And this could be a good training aid for night operation training missions. Such as a multiplayer group practicing night time aerial refueling and have a couple guys spectate as a boom operator giving talk ons.

Here are some screen shots of Spring time, Syria map over Ramat David AB during sunrise and just after with just a little fog on the ground and a Scud missile at high altitude over the Lebanon Israel Border. I love how the clouds look and how they are rendered in the game.

    You'd think Winwing would have tested this. I wonder if it's something that could be fixed on a module level. For example, detecting different speeds of inputs would move the dial x10° / x50° / x100° That's a really solid suggestion actually. Thanks for that!

    Soooo, dann zeige ich mal mein Lösung ist eigentlich recht simpel. 40x80er Profile am Winkel zur Sicherheit noch etwas abgestützt. Am Stuhl sind Platten von Montertech, mit den M8 Rendelschrauben kannst du das ganze in 30 sek. montieren. Das geile ist das ich hier alles völlig stufenlos auf mich einstellen kann Was ich noch gemacht habe, in der Base des Kollektiv selbst habe ich eine Schraube in die Laufbuchse eingedreht. so dass der Kollektiv jetzt nur etwa 20 Grad bewegung ermöglicht. Damit lässt sich das super fliegen. Hoffe das hilft dir weiter :)

    mi sono chiesto lo stesso, molto accigliato. hanno installato le c++ redistrib 14.44 sottobanco, non ho visto nemmeno nelle release notes. si vede il pacchetto nelle applicazioni installate in win. un grazie a @kira_mikamy che ha trovato anche precedenti simili. almeno notificarlo nelle release notes sarebbe gradito.
