We will not get Litening II for Viper since they don't have enough public docs for that, We should get Lantirn later on.

waiting for resolution ED/RAZBAM Situation Info & Discussion
PhantomHans replied to NineLine's topic in RAZBAM
My only takeaway from this is that spending money on DCS products is a lot like gambling. You put your money in, and if you're lucky, you don't just lose everything immediately. -
Pretty much. Tomcat 21 would have been sweeeeet.

Wow, thank you for the very good post! @RogueSpecterGaming Interesting findings on the 8vs10-degree pitch, i always just learned that 10-degrees was the correct way to do it. I also hope this helps the ED team to investigate this further, its a very detailed post. Again thank you for taking the time to test this even further then i did, and offering your insight.

Yup, it’s been happening to me as well.

Release in 2026 but barely any info 6 months before 2026?
Scott-S6 replied to LimePartician's topic in DCS: F-35A
The FAQ says 2026 release goal. I agree that it sounds exceedingly optimistic but ED have now set that expectation. -
"Into The Blue Simulations" would be great. He's a pilot and knows his stuff big time. He does great reviews. Love to hear what he thinks of the C-130.

Sound could use a little better mixdown, but it's not too bad. Although I do run all external sounds, like engine, environment, guns, ect through my THX external speakers at a pretty good volume (subwoofer included), and get the ATC, and other radio transmission through my headset. I don't usually run all audio through my headset.

I have to believe ED has already put some thought into a future Iran expansion map given the extent of terrain already modelled to the east.

[SLOW PERFORMANCE] Unusually long load times and close times
Mainstay replied to SOLIDKREATE's topic in Game Performance Bugs
I had to uninstall DCS and uninstall all PIMAX related software as a last resort. Reinstalled everything and like a miracle everything works like a charm again.... -
There IS a standard in F-16, it's for: - multiple-step switches/knows right click is up, left click is down - 0-1 switches is which ever click (left or right) - rollers (potentiometes), left mouse button hold and move the mouse forward (for up), backward (for down) -- As said, the only one that buzes me, is the probe heat/test, it just doesn't work that way.

I am currenty building a mission and have the same settings. Evade off, Status Red. I cannot get the SA15's to engage the harms. So whats the difference? I am trying to get the SA15's to defend the SA2 next to it. But every time the only start to launch about 1 second before the harm impacts the SA2. Too late. They used to be much more aggresive. I now am unable to get any sam to engage the harm. Maybe the new harm profile is now too good?

Looks like it’s been updated now. And again it was already possible to get. No new features needed.

DML - Mission Creation Toolbox [no Lua required]
DD_Friar replied to cfrag's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
@unclesneep Salute and welcome to world of DML. Not sure why you are using the pulse module to feed into the explosions. What was your understanding of the pulse that made you use it? not criticizing, just trying to understand your approach. try the following Radio menu option (for example)"Start Explosions" flag triggered = startExplosion Explosion Module boom? parameter set to look for startExplosion num parameter set to number of explosions you want rndLoc parameter set to true (explosions will be randomized within the zone This should work each time the menu option is selected. -
I get an issue where I'm told to check picture with F10 after reaching waypoint 2 (Gori), but I never see F10 option in comms. The mission still continues even without it, but it seemed odd.

Danke schonmal

OK, between different aircraft, I would understand that (but still find it illogic and weird). BUT within the same aircraft cockpit, this is just silly! logic changes between two different button in the same cockpit... THIS should be standardize across all aircraft. I don't know but this is basic.

Hi, I would like to see Camera pre-focus to be added to DCS. Pan around and pre-focus on the desired point from any unit. This will be a great option for content creators. Right now for example if i put my camera on one jet/unit and i want to get my wingman in the same frame but want his jet to look sharp just isnt possible. Sure i can turn off depth of field but then everything just will be sharp and the magic of the shot just isnt there. Would like to know if this is possible a future implementation, but sure think this will be a simple but good addition to DCS. Thanks.

It's been in Early Access for years, I don't think that status prevents or encourages anyone from making future campaigns. Most (many?) planes are in early access it seems.

You do know there's an adjustment hole for each throttle, just past the mid point, right? A small allen key can adjust the throttle from very stiff, to "falls forward or backward on its own if not straight up". Yours doesn't do this?

All normal, with hours you get used to it, it becomes a muscle memory, for any plane. F-16 goes one way, Mig-21 the other, for example I agree it could be more standardized, but this is how it is. I also wanted to do some changes on F-16, but nothing has been heard so far (it was for probe heat & test swith, which clicks strangly, not f-16 standard).

Yeah, but he was using his phone, and as you say, they are not always up to day. @Tom P Just let him be. For some reason he will always oppose ideas he doesn't understand/see the benefit of. Personally I run a script after updates that copies all pdfs to my Onedrive. Use your favourite cloud storage. Another neat trick is to have a Kindle/Amazon account, and just send them to the Kindle app.
