Hi I just tested the new weapons and noticed that they could be carried on pylon 3, 4, 5. But IRL in France they were only on the pylon 4, which has been confirmed by people who worked on the F1. And as a wish they should be available on the Mirage F1 CT. I'm waiting for more informations if the CR had used them. As soon as I have the information, I will share it.

Note sure what that has to do with the question whether the escrow contract was a cause of VEAO leaving or the result of them leaving.

Hi new update today! from now the mod version will match the DCS version, so it will be easier to know if up yo date. Added BAT100/BAP120 to the CT but only on pylon 4 as IRL. OVGME friendly, just install in the root folder.

investigating Stuck in the middle of mission 3
YoYo replied to pbt31's topic in DCS: F-16C The Gamblers Campaign
Once again, everything went well and the mission proceeded correctly. You must report exactly at the IP point, not before. If you do it before then, the mission will freeze and you won't be able to complete it. -

investigating Petrovich cannot see targets on Cold War Germany map
SemperFi replied to grusche's topic in Bugs and Problems
Thanks for checking. This issue has been around for a while, but even the latest DCS version couldn't fix it. -
Yes, it’s as if the generators can’t provide enough voltage/current for all systems if I turn on anti ice on the ground. The electrical panel has the green light indicating the generators are active, yet the autopilot/dampers refuse to stay on. It’s why I even tried to keep the APU running and turned on the APU generator for good measure, but it didn’t help.

Gear and flaps fully down, trim to 10 deg elevator pitch on the downwind. That should put you right at 90-100 knots. Maintain climb rate with throttle. Your goal is to touch the elevator stick almost never. Throttle inputs all the way down to the deck. At 90 knots your plane is at the right attitude to catch a wire. No flare needed. I’ve watched the same training videos as you where it talks about dropping the nose and then flaring. This approach is dangerous unless you are quick to act on the rudder pedals. I never use this technique. I just fly it down at a stable 90 knots until hitting the deck and it works great. Correct technique or not, I would have to assume that the real pilots only cared about the end result… “Did I catch that wire?”

Free Mi-24P Campaign : The Dawn Of The Soviet-Afghan War
Raffi75 replied to dggoofy's topic in Missions and Campaigns
This is a bit strange. I only had one icing problem this campaign, but it was clearly my fault because I hadn't turned on the pitot tube heater. I turned it on in flight, and after a while, everything was fine. -
investigating No RWR warnings about SA-11 launch
Default774 replied to lester's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
This has nothing to do with specific aircraft and is an issue across all aircraft. With the new SA-11 missile aerodynamics it meant it could engage targets beyond the range at which the tracking radar was detectable on RWR. The RWR detection range (so to say) was increased last update, but not increased enough. Provided you are flying high and fast enough, the range at which the SA-11 can engage you is still longer than the range at which it becomes detectable on RWRs, so until you get closer to the SAM you will not get a warning. This issue is reported to ED. -
Thanks. This looks most useful ¡¡¡

I normally turn them on on the ground too, and never had problems with it before this mission. Because it did give me problems the first time around, I decided to turn them on immediately after gear up, and that’s when I lose an engine. I’ll try one last time tomorrow, but frankly this is getting annoying

Free Mi-24P Campaign : The Dawn Of The Soviet-Afghan War
Raffi75 replied to dggoofy's topic in Missions and Campaigns
At what point do you turn on the anti-icing system and pitot tube heater? I always do this on the ground, before turning off the AI-9, and I have no problems during flight. I checked the manual today; the anti-icing system and pitot tube heater turn on at temperatures of +5°C and below. -
investigating Petrovich cannot see targets on Cold War Germany map
Flappie replied to grusche's topic in Bugs and Problems
Many thanks for the example, @SemperFi. I gave it a go and Petrovich was actually able to find it. Since the map was updated some weeks ago, please make sure your DCS is up-to-date, just in case. M113_germany.trk -
R27R/ER lose track if you enter memory Mode
FoxAlfa replied to GRY Money's topic in Su-27 for DCS World
I could be misremembering this but on the real jet, it blinks when you are near the limit, so the pilot can correct... and not when you pass it and lost the missile. -
Seconding what Volator said, nice work sniffing this one out @xray20. Looks like this one is from 1998. I don't know if it is an exact match for every airfield on the CW Germany map but it's damn close. Notice also, how in this one they already renamed the Taxi ways on Ramstein AB to a lettered format compared to the numbered way they did in the examples from the late 80s I have found so far.

They're probably aware, but it's not just Winwing. It seems to be an issue with how Windows handles rapid DirectInput inputs. For Winwing to fix it, they'd have to code some sort of solution when turning an encoder quickly enough registers as a continuous press instead, but this would have to be on the device side, before the input is sent. I don't know if other encoders from other brands act the same, but IIRC my Arduino-based control panel had to handle a similar problem.
