Would be nice to see this eventually be added to the ED modules. And it's been request many times. We know it shouldn't be that hard as a previous dev team was able to add it within a patch window.

In cockpit view, try hovering the cursor over the door area and look for a small hand or highlight — some aircraft use context-sensitive hotspots that only appear at certain camera angles.

Did you consider including the still classified "temporal anomaly" incident that - allegedly - happened to the USS Nimitz in 1980? Where Tomcats from VF-84 - allegedly - splashed two RJN Mitsubishi Zeros (that looked suspiciously like re-painted T-6 Texans)? Would be a nice Easter egg, especially the narration could potentially be hilarious.

I'm sure if ED decided to make an M2000-5, it would be a top. The entire French community would jump on this module. Me first. But I think it's not ED's desire to do it, but the lack of freely available documents and Dassault's authorization. It will remain a dream...

I would be cool if we had something of an option to use custom files to replace the default "Rita" VIWAS. Apparently it was something local units would do. Maybe I'll get my wife to record the aural warnings in her sexiest Russian accent

Hi all, I’ve got a question about handling radar contacts in the F-4E with AI Jester. Let’s say I already see a (IFF) contact on the radar. At this point I don’t want to hard lock it yet — I just want Jester to keep following that contact area so he doesn’t lose it when he resumes his wider search pattern. Sometimes it feels like if I don’t lock immediately, Jester just keeps scanning, contact is lost and it can take too long before he reacquires the same blip. So my question is: Is there a way to tell Jester to “track” or “focus” on a contact without going to a hard lock? Do you guys use specific Jester Wheel entries or context button tricks to make him hold a radar focus on a contact? Any tips or workflow that help reduce the chance of losing a contact before I’m ready to commit to a lock? Curious to hear how others handle this — thanks in advance! Cheers, Zev

Fully agreed - blame is on me for purchasing the wrong base model. Right now there's another modding team working on a RF-101C though. And to put things into perspective: I got the RF-101B from cgtrader late November 2024 It took a while to evaluate the model and compare it with blueprints and photos Re-modelling of the plane took until summer 2025 Rigging the model has been an ongoing task since then So even if we decide to transform the RF-101B into a RF-101C, give and take it will be a 6 months to a year before this is done. At the same time we have a bunch of other models in the pipeline - different designs altogether. Given that the team is primarily constrained on time, I prefer to chase other planes and ships for now. Also keep in mind that it can get tiring to work on the same mesh and config day after day. After all, this is a hobby for the team, not a job. Lastly, it might be helpful to get some feedback on the RF-101B once it's released as AI asset, to see where the deficits are and not make the same mistakes with a related model Cheers, TeTeT PS: Early evaluation screenshot:

After a week or more of a lifeless VR headset and numerous attempts at fixes...not to mention pulling my hair out my reverbG2 came back to life. I pinned it down to running steam as an administrator.First time trying that one. The show goes on....maybe it helps a fellow reverbG2 user.

In my experience DCS needs to be running for it to show up in the list. Quadviews does the fixed foveated rendering fir the G2 though I could not get it to work with the Oasis driver, the mission would hang on startup. Only tried it briefly, not sure if it is a known issue? Disabling it fixed it.

Io sul 339 volo almeno una volta la settimana (e' uno dei moduli che uso di piu'). Ma il problema del 339 e' che e' un aereo che va bene per gli "amatori" come me che si divertono a svolazzarci in giro "for fun", difficilmente uno ci andra' in un server a lanciare bombe e razzi alla vecchia maniera. L'AMX IMHO e' un altro paio di maniche: lo puoi usare per CAS/BAI alla pari dell'Harrier, che pure e' molto usato.

Of course the wire can be simulated better. Atm it's good enough for the aircraft behavior in the cockpit. That's why it's not something of high priority. Why such weird thread title if it's only a simple wish? We can have it - it's only a matter of devs' will, time and money.

I think this is the same issue: I'm personally having the same behavior although mine is a 14900k. The linked comment sounds exactly as yours. I'm willing to downgrade my BIOS just to test this issue, but it seems a fix for long load times is scheduled for the next patch (hopefully releases today) so I'll wait for it.

@Reflected Seems to be a long long way until this module is even nearly ready for a study level campaign from you. I was so hyped after release and waned to get into it, but since the last update for me its unplayable to a point, where I cannot even experience the inadequacies of the engine cooling model. Very sad situation. I hope we get some fixes soon. Can´t wait to get my carrier qualification so that I am ready to kick some Zeros out of the sky, as soon as your campaign is out.

Are you sure he can't see the ECM on his radar? Isn't it the HOJ that's locked on you?
