  2. I would think that laser scanning/photometry is more useful in situations when shape or dimensions are unknown, irregular, or difficult to obtain. That may be the case with the F18, but it would be surprising to me. I would think, you could do an accurate job by just measuring panels, curves, and distances within the cockpit.
  3. There is no light there, the space is occupied by antennas.
  5. @IvanK Do you know as a Beta-tester if the MIG-29A Fulcrum have some bug that results in bombs falling short? As far as I can see on youtube tutorials (Spudknocker, Grim Reapers etc) and by community members posts, all their bombs fall short. The same goes for me when I do bomb runs. Or is it due to not having enough dive-angle (or something else)?
  6. Thanks, I thought I could delete files created in the mission editor. I hadn't realized this was possible in the DTC editor.
  7. 20 cm 100 0
  8. It works the same, with difference being that in Hind trim resets AP instantly, but in Mi-8 you have flight mechanic doing it over time via those wheels on the panel. You are using trim hat correctly. Secret to smooth flying with trim is to trim a lot.
  9. Any chance would you make this one? Thank you for sharing your work with the community, Awesome work!!!!!
  10. I really like the flightmodel of the Fulcrum, to the point is has now become my main airplane to fly. I don't know if 100% accurate reflect the real flightmodel, but i don't care, the MIG is so much fun. I feel connected to the MIG on a deep level, especially in VR. The lack of training missions is the only thing I am missing in this module.
  11. Getting to know the MiG-29, just mucking around, having fun. Tweaked a couple of my FC3 mig-29 liveries as a place holder till we get the templates. They work... kinda...sorta... Now all we need is a FF SU-25A....
  12. Works fine here. https://scramble.nl/
  13. Please correct me if I am wrong that HB has handed over to ED for the API implementation, but not sure that ED has made the change yet. Thanks.
  14. Today
  15. I tried but I didn't see any difference. Maybe I made a mistake in the installation, but even when I opened the edited texture in Gimp I don't see any difference from the original...
  16. Are mission 7 and 8 still gonna be a thing?
  17. If there's a digital version of God's work, you're doing it @bandit648!
  18. Huey’s dark fate continues. It is dying literally
  19. It’s insane, trying to perfect perfection. Each iteration just keeps showing that you DO do it though. Statics can only be appreciated up close and can be hidden behind things, a module can have ridiculous detail, yet you don’t really see it when more than a couple hundred feet from it - but Bandits weather - is front and Center in your face, and the level of realism bought by it just elevates the whole experience. It makes you want to undertake an a$$ numbing long duration flight, just to see the differences with distance. There are a few guys, whose work makes the DCS environment so much more. Bandit648 is way, way up that list.
  20. What is the planned release date, within the reasonable, 2 weeks! I mean an expected one as everything is subject to change, October, November (2025)??
  21. Hi all, I may have missed this elsewhere, but I'm wondering if there's a fix for the haywire interceptor missiles from most of the seafaring assets in Currenthill's packs. Thanks so much for any clarification/assistance!
  22. Took the old girl out for some AAR tonight. One thing to note, you need to manually switch over to radio two on UHF to get in comms with the tanker and ensure you are on the correct channel. Also the instruction manual advises to use the PTT button, however this does not work when bound to anything. I used the comms menu button, default "/", and then called the tanker, worked fine. This was a good time this evening. Digging the AAR. Even though I set the damn tanker in an orbit around 1 waypoint.
  23. I got it to happen in a Track that works. It happens during the 3rd sortie. A bomb doesn't start it this time. It happens when some Leopard tanks start shooting at some Russian tanks and BMPs in the same spot so it has nothing to do with the munition. It's either one of the units or the bridge I guess. I attached the newest log too. Framerate bug 4 Started happening on its own when leopard tanks shot Russian tanks and BMPs.trk dcs.log
  24. scamble.nl gives a 403 error. I've been using this site: https://www.mil-airfields.de/countries.html#DE However it can sometime be thin on what units are based where during which time frame. A lot of it seems to be focused on MiG-15/-17 era.
  25. Still need a short track demonstrating the issues being seen, thanks.
  26. As per the title, the right outer tail light of the Mig-29 is missing. See attached photo.
  27. I've developed an unhealthy obsession with trying to make better looking cirrus clouds. No other flight sims really have good looking cirrus and there's a reason for that. You either do volumetric procedural generated cirrus or shader/texture technique like DCS. Procedural generated clouds are great for lower level clouds but it just doesn't do thin wispy cloud formations like cirrus very well. Texture based techniques like what DCS uses can look good but because they are tiled textures they can look repetitive and flat. I've been working on the textures and shader code to eliminate any banding and ugliness at close range. I think I've got some pretty good results with this version. Thanks for everyone's patience as I experiment with this. I've added new and removed different textures along the way. Apologies if I removed one that you liked. Here are some screenshots from version 2.1...
