You should consult the HTCC website (Home | HTCC). It says the Varjo Aero is not compatible as it doesn't have hand tracking hardware. You would need to add an UltraLeap Motion Controller. I have no idea what "Lighthouse" is.

You are 100% correct. Every day is harder and harder to create missions. Every new plane has more and more tabs to configure, many new "features" complicate that even further (DTC, VOIP, etc) and there is not a single improvement on tools to help the content creators. Starting from Mission Editor (2025 still no undo), to how you configure weather (fog is a mess), to replays, broken/unfinished VOIP, DTC, etc..... I am afraid the will launch DC so unfinished that it won't serve it's purpose. DCS planes are beautiful but this company have forsaken its main value, the community. It's hard to see how would they reverse this, specially after latest leaks.

А вот на ИП-52 болт положили, по этому он вдруг решил стать желтым, как и твои извилины. КОторые кроме ОСТов ничего переваривать не умеют. Ты ещё расскажи что у нас в стране никто взяток не берёт и других нарушений не совершает, потому что... в Уголовном кодексе написано.... А почему вообще самолёты падают из за технических причин? Ведь всё в авиации регламентировано и вокруг такие добросовестные мастера как ты...

Ха... судя по документу Р-27 в DCS вообще работает не так как она спроектирована! Т.е. на первом этапе полётом ракеты можно управлять с носителя, а на втором этапе цель в захвате можно не держать и срыв захвата РЛС носителя с цели не должен влиять на отработку задачи самой ракеты. Автономно РГС уже работает с 30 км! а это уже позволяет делать манёвр уклонения от встречной атаки.

That would leave the choice of VR units to either V3 or Varjo aero which I am not sure works with your set up re finger tracking HTCC and something called Lighthouse ? is this all compatible do you know ? Sorry for probably naive questions but I am new to VR

That "Open DTC" button on the mission briefing screen is a really useful addition. It makes loading and managing data much smoother before jumping into the mission.

Да, в том числе и по личному опыту, со "стрелковкой" дело имел будучи курсантом и в частях ВВС, но никогда особо не заморачивался, норматив выбил и хорошо, а вот с производством самолётов столкнулся когда переучивался на новый тип и когда принимали и перегоняли с заводов, всё по "бумажкам".... А там достаточно просто прочитать, в большинстве выложенных документов буквами написано......

Essentially the axis moves, you can notice that by looking all the way down and then rotating left and right (without head tracking ofc). Thats why, when head camera is rotated all the way right or left it will move away from the back cockpit walls.

Unfortunately I stopped flying it as well. Honestly it’s becoming quite annoying, it’s been released for a while now; I understand early access but this thing CANNOT be taxied, bug has been reported several times and the fix is not “high priority” apparently. Makes no sense not taxiing an aircraft in a sim like DCS. I really wanted to support the devs but start regretting getting this module so early. Would be nice to have some clear communication whether this issue is actually being worked on and if a fix will be released soon. And next would be nice to get some work done on the flight model.

I also encountered the same bug. When using the AIM-120 missile, an LAR error is displayed on the DDI.

Это вы по личному опыту судите? Просто у меня то он именно что личный. И отклонения от написанного тогда были явно выше, чем сейчас. Во всяком случае в моей сфере. Тот же зеркальный зазор на ПКМ выпусков 85-87 года гулял как хотел. Причем с завода. Сейчас это представить себе невозможно. Или завал стойки мушки на Ак-74 выпуска Ижевск в 90м году. Тоже абсолютно явное отклонение от документации. Сейчас увидеть такое на боевом автомате без шансов. А тогда. Привелся к нормальному бою? Ну да, правда мушка почти упирается в ограждение. И что тебе надо? Про капсюли на патронах вообще молчу. Как попадется что то выпуска позднего СССР так начинается отбраковка с современным подходом.

I appreciate this topic coming up again, because your previous responses say it works as intended. Personally, the explanation for the desirability of this reflection behavior don’t make any sense to me in light of the perfect mirror behavior of fhe F-14 and Viggen. I haven’t seen any VR users say this is a desirable feature in the F-4. In fact, it’s vertigo inducing and uncomfortable in VR. I don’ fly this module anymore because this, along with the lagging stick movement responses, create a very uncomfortable VR experience, unlike any other module in DCS. I guess what I’m hoping to see in this thread is an acknowledgement that mirror lag is a problem, not a solution to a problem I didn’t realize existed in any other HB module. That’s why hearing your response as a HB representative saying that this issue has been previously reported, but that it’s working as intended, is not comforting. It’s just saying that HB aren’t going to change it because it’s by design. I’m giving HB user feedback saying this particular design choice is creating some pretty significant problems, and solving none (at least based on not experiencing reflection problems in other modules). If HB is solving a problem with this reflection behavior, it’s completely unclear to me what the problem actually is, at least based your current explanation.

When i bought the ka-50 before dcs world existed, it was quite a frustrating experience for me. Learning curve was so steep, it felt like i am a tourist in shorts and shirt, with a water bottle and flip flops going to climb mount everest. But a lot of youtube tutorials, reading wikipedia and trial and error took me through my first successful mission and the feeling was just awesome.
