Never used the AVI tool myself, so don't know really how it works. But one solution would be creating a symbolic link (something similiar as shortcut, but on filesystem level, a file, or directory, appears to be on two places at once). 1)Move the movie directory where you want the files to be placed. (Make sure it's deleted where it originaly were) 2)open command prompt (start->run->cmd.exe) 3)type in mklink /d "original place" "new place" i.e mklink /d "j:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Movies" "c:\Temp\Movies\" everything written to the original place will be automatically redirected to the new location.

I made a short Su-25T campaign. The idea is that Russian forces are closing down on Poti, and you fly the Su-25T in support of this offensive. I wonder what you find of the difficulty level: is it easy or not? I have no idea and not much to compare to. So any suggestion is welcome! (I did not set any settings in the missions, I play all settings on sim like everyone else I presume). Anyways I think you will agree with me that the Su-25T is simply superb! Assault on Poti.zip

Well, on the other hand we stay with beta 4 until that is resolved. I do not know of anyone who would fly without TIR. And it's still only beta so no need to rag on DCS...thanx for the info Wags. Hopefully NP gets on the stick about this.

It is. All other items for a Beta 5 have been resolved except TIR working. We have sent a test program to NP to help diagnose the problem but have yet to hear anything back from them.

Kuky, I ran a single CPU test case in Cinebench 10 and got a score of 6700. copen, my case is an AZZA Hurrican 2000 and my CPU cooler is the Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 120mm.

The MH-53E Sea Dragon, in service with the US Navy, is primarily dedicated to airborne mine countermeasures (AMCM) operations.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with allowing Windows to get driver updates for you. They work and are digitally signed, otherwise Microsoft would not distribute them. The only downside is they dont always grab the most up to date driver version which in some cases may be what you need. Also Slammin is correct. In this case NP's post is not suggesting the use of Window's Update feature to fetch drivers off the internet.

ljekio ulmar Возможно будут элементы динамики, но сама кампания будет линейной, по причине слишком большого обьема работы для одного человека, если делать разветвляющийся сюжет. Динамическое размещение врагов со случайными флагами надо будет попробовать. Боты хорошо работают по ВЦУ, да им не хватает инициативы, но зато хорошо тренируется работа с целеуказанием:) Откаты не планируются, счет будет сделан по принципу "БУГ" - миссия невыполнена 50%, выполнена 100%. Для выполнения миссии надо будет собрать некоторое количество флагов:) [миссия пошла под нож:), более она не актуальна]

I actually do this with FSX, but with my race sims. I'll "fly" to Europe or Cali or NY from my home airport the day before I plan to "race"! Immersive!;)

I posted on this topic to give input on a problem someone was having. This input solved my problem on this issue.. You don't need to jump in with your smart ass comments and contradict, but i guess you know everything.

ога, и дороже этой же 580, а самое главное - кушающее больше и требующее 2х 16 пси-е. и вообще, пара 6970 будет работать даже круче пары 580! )) Потому что одна работает не сильно хуже, а масштабируемость гораздо выше. только толку с этого человеку, который хочет бюджетный вариант?)

It's very immersive. There's no experience quite like Falcon 4. However, the devil is in the details, and on occasion the shortcomings can be infuriating. When you play it, you will immediately notice something: The generated missions are ridiculous. I'm playing through a campaign at the mo and I still laugh, because this system (The Air Tasking Order, or ATO as it is known) from start to finish does some rather funny things. For instance, day 1 of war: SEAD mission on the outskirts of Pyongyang! :(, heavily escorted, package of 4 SEAD aircraft and 2 packages of 4 fighter escorts. Cloud base of 6000ft, hunting flak artillery. Suggested loadout of CBU munitions. Generated mission plan takes you straight through the threat zones, at 20k feet, right into air defense network. You can make changes to horizontal and vertical profile, but that isn't the problem. The problem is that the mission is a bust. It's suicide. You may make it because you have human smarts, but your wingmen will all be picked off by MiGs and SAM's. The cloudbase means PGM's are out, because you do not want to be playing with them at 5000ft, a sweetspot for SAMs. You can blind-radar bomb (actually surprisingly accurate) from 20000ft and live with the SA-2's and 5's, but it's very hard to discriminate buildings even using the enhanced doppler-beam sharpening. You'll probably bomb an orphanage and nunnery building, next to a gun emplacement. So you ingress low level, near downtown Pyongyang and in range of every medium calibre weapon and rifle, pop up and hope you can visually acquire a target. You may hit one gun, then it is time to get the hell out of there, because by this time your wingies are dead, and MiGs have been scrambled. You make it back and have lost 6-7 aircraft and killed one flak gun. It's fun the first couple of times, then you just think..."really? :music_whistling:". There is definitely an argument that a well-designed single mission can do a very good job of putting you in there. A good briefing, well written, with a bit of story, goes a long way. Don't get me wrong, I love F4. But I love DCS too. Apples and Oranges. There's an excellent armour sim called Steel Beasts Pro PE. In the designer notes, there's a comment along the lines of AI seeming to be either very convincing, or utterly stupid, dependent on how well the mission designer has thought out their movement and behaviour using triggers and understanding the AI logic. Generally, the more you ask it to think, the worse it is. This is definitely the case with F4AF. You can take over the ATO I mentioned, but then you're not simming, you're micro-managing (though you can play it this way, if you want).

Other aircraft have 20 mm Vulcan cannons. The A-10 has the GAU-8. Other aircraft have puny little radars. If the A-10 had a radar, proportionality dictates it'd have a radar which could: 1) Fry bacon, small animals, T-72s and small countries from up to 7 nm away. 2) Make the planet spin the other way due to the electro-magnetic recoil. 3) Absorb all the global warming. 4) Act as a weather radar by painting the weather. Painting as in "drawing new weather", not as in "recording the current weather". 5) Make the RWR beep, as the radar beam hits the transmitting A-10 after circumnavigating the planet... or possibly the entire curved space-time continuum. 6) ... 7) ... ;)

Try maintaining a single corner speed. The speed that gives you best continuous turn rate. Let's use say, 400 knots for the F-15 no tanks, half fuel. Turn and target that speed. Use full throttle as much as possible. If you go under that speed release some G, if you are over pull more G.

Эта стата сделана для РАФ, на АКАДО стоит для мебели, в ней нет учета специфики дуэльного сервака, где необязательно возвращаться на филд после победы... в текущей стате, что бы быть "красивым и здоровым" надо обязательно совершать посадку, дожидаться полной остановки самолета и тд и тп, разумеется на дуэльнике никто этим не заморачивается. Поэтому, нестоит приводить как аргумент сылку на эту стату.

The rest is fluff and any perceived or real significance may or may not be related to some internal target that you are not and will not be privy to or some desired publicly stated or speculated target that is NOT a promise.
