Sorry to pick your brain but how does the base R-27r compare to Aim-7m? They were both used in the Gulf war and Kosovo but I’ve never heard of them clashing.

https://books.google.com/books?id=HqLVPFYIOJMC&pg=PA976&dq=amraam+low+rate+production&hl=en&newbks=1&newbks_redir=0&source=gb_mobile_search&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiz866416n5AhWAEGIAHUaiAaQQ6AF6BAgEEAM#v=onepage&q=amraam low rate production&f=false the Air Force explicitly mentions needing the Low Rate initial production missiles to counter act the Soviets until the regular missiles were ready.

I mean that’s true for Aim-120a as well with delivery of low rate initial production missiles from 1988 and used in the Gulf War before official IOC.

Totally understandable given current events. Are third parties still able to develop such things if they have the data and desire?

So the U.S. National Air & Space Intelligence Center was the organization that examined Viktor Belenko‘s Mig-25 and had the manual he brought with him. Would someone be willing to send a FOIA to them for it? I have several open at Wright AFB and don’t want to get excessive. Also I sent that request for the tolkachevdocuments so we will know by early October if we can be given them.

I’ll do it but are we sure what agency has them?

Fella, if you see these things for sale online, you need to buy it. These things are so rare that it would be impossible to start a project and collect documentation. You need to start collecting NOW and then people Will think it’s doable.

If you can get it Running A-10 Attack! And Cuba! Are this exactly with a clickable cockpit and realistic flight and damage model. A temporary aid to your thirst.

F-15k would be more similar to the F-15e Razbam is making

Polish Mig-29 are Mill-1553 standard and we have the Mig-29G. This would be really cool to have.

Hey does anybody have a three view of the original J-10?

Is uboats profile pic an easter egg for next Deka module?
F-2 replied to Rinz1er's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
I don’t expect it, but dream big or go home actually if the AI version happens I’ll still really be happy. I do feel like we will know their next move in the not too distant future. -

Apparently the J-10a fleet were scheduled to get their radars replaced with the Jeff’ block III air cooled AESA https://bmpd.livejournal.com/3408313.html? hopefully this makes the old standard J-10 possible one day. -
We need the ability to build a mission across adjacent maps
F-2 replied to upyr1's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I believe that’s an ambition for some point. When I don’t know. -
I just mean he wasn’t able to get documentation in-spite Of going to the manufacturer.

They sold Yak-41 data. I’m not sure about the Yak-38, I’ve seen it mentioned occasionally but never in any kinda source. The F-35 system program office went with Lockheed to evaluate the plane so they would be the ones to ask. besides being a different time though these laws are odd. The Russian MOD will deny just about any request for information but won’t stop Malaysia from hiring a company in Pennsylvania to develop an Su-30 simulator.

Wasn’t Cuban Ace trying to develop a Yak-38 and was denied documentation by Yak?

If anyone knows he’s talking about the Peace Sun IV eagles. These where deliver after the end of the normal F-15 production ended. The F-15D have a Strike Eagle body, common engine bay, APG-70 but otherwise have D avionics. The C they got at the same time I’m not sure about.

Difference between the AIM120B&C and all the differents AIM9 missiles
F-2 replied to cmbaviator's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Not surprised by this. Ive actually heard this is a big reason the USAF dragged their feet replacing AIM-9m. -
I know about the post gulf war Saudi Eagles. Did they definitely have the 229?
-
Yes, the ones the responded to 9/11 unfortunately where some of the last with the 100.
