  1. I can edit the missile position on the rails but I didn't feel like I needed to edit them. I'll see what's happening with it crashing DCS tho as I did not have that problem when I was testing it.
  2. V1.5.6 patch released for this OB patch.
  3. I think it might be an actual texture/rendering-related error.
  4. Bug: The F110 engine panel in the F-14B is darker than the other panels even though the textures for it did not change. Can I reproduce it 100%: Yes DCS Version: Open Beta 2.8.3.37556 (Singlethreaded and Multithreaded) Mods: None. Pictures:
  5. Seems like someone already mentioned him with the fix I've posted on the post but I'll post it here just in case. Add this to description.lua Previous topic post:
  6. You would add those lines to your livery file (description.lua).
  7. This is a problem with your custom cockpit textures. You will need to update the lua to comply with the new requirements for the mirrors. EDIT: You found out the problem already so nvm. If you still want to use the cockpit and are willing to mod it yourself: add these lines of code to your lua file:
  8. I now must update everything lol. This weekend is going to be long. EDIT: This mod should be updated. I'm now moving on to fix the others.
  9. Yep will do soon
  10. To a degree, yes but they could reduce the flares and go back to the older type of flares used like how it was prior to 2.7.1. And programing would be done differently iirc.
  11. I was watching some of the older Hornet videos and noticed the older CM panel which featured the ALE-39, ALQ-126B, and ALQ-162 controls before ED was able to get sufficient info on the ALE-47 and ASPJ. I'm wondering if it would be possible to reimplement these assets into the F-18 as a time period-based item (like the mission is set to prior to the ALE-47 reached IOC in 1998).
  12. V1.2 has been released with a fix for the weapon station status indicators. Some stations indicators, especially 1A’s indicator has like a super opaque viewing window that makes it look like a weapon is loaded even when it wasn’t. Here's a screenshot with stations 1A, 8A and 3-6 empty with 1B and 8B loaded.
  13. I’d assume no Steam preorder also means that the Steam users cannot get the book that’s being given out for the preorder period.
  14. rip
  15. I just had this happen to me. My pilot binds (ACM radar modes and weapon selector keybinds) were in effect when I was in the RIO seat in a MP BFM situation. Was not an enjoyable experience try to RIO while stumbling into my pilot binds.
  16. Just for clarity sake, you talking about the Zero Doppler Filter right? I don't know of any other velocity gate/filter that effects tracking in PD-STT.
  17. The standard F-4EJ got some (if not all) it's A/G capabilities back later on in their careers. The EJ Kai however did get the additional weapons (possibly ASM-2, GCS-1, etc.) but it did not get JDAM capabilities and was only mounted onto an EJ Kai for festival purposes.
  18. It's a good example of what can be done in terms of customizing their placement.
  19. Not going to lie, I would absolutely love a DMM collaboration with HB to create an authentic, true to life simulation of the F-4EJ and EJ Kai. Since DMM was able to basically provide a lot of the information regarding the EJ/EJ Kai’s weapons and systems for WT’s basic model, I think something can be done to make one for DCS.
  20. Damn pretty hard to find good imagery of the cockpits of the EJ/EJ Kais. Btw anyone know what that display to the top right was for in the WSOpit of the EJ?
  21. This was probably a developmental WIP thing since you have to code it to make it drop and etc.
  22. The Super 530D uses the standard DCS Fox-1 scheme (aa_missile_semi_active) which is a part of the new API. HB and ED would have to make a new schema in order to make the Phoenix operate more true to life and cannot take something like the AIM-120's or SD-10's scheme (aa_missile_amraam2 and aa_missile_amraam respectively) since they operate in their own way for their respective missiles.
  23. IIRC, the AIM-7P might've not been adopted/used by the USAF and only the USN used it. Might be wrong but this could be the reason why the 7P isn't featured on the F-15C.
  24. In a perfect world, Jester would be marking targets as Do Not Attack in order to prevent your TWSA centroid being placed in a suboptimal position that could potentially lead to target extrapolation against a target you fired a missile at.
  25. Well at least at the beginning the EJs didn't have CCIP/CCRP due to the Exclusively Defense-Oriented Policy. But before the EJ Kai upgrade program began, EJs were capable of carrying bombs and rockets. There was a big WT forum post regarding it with a wealth of info.
