  1. Good choice on the monitor...
  2. Put the hand break on your right or left toe brake, and adjust the curve so the nose doesn't do a face plant.... Using both throttles does work very well as stated above.... Good Luck
  3. Good on ya then..... keep posting progress
  4. You can't see them with the throttle forward anyway, I do use the first light to tell me if my IN/OUT Toggle on the S3 switch is IN or OUT. I sent you a PM with a design I came up with for IL2/DCS Warbirds. Cheers Hoss
  5. The P-47 and P-51 arming panels Left/Right/Belly arming conventions could use some standardization. The panels in the planes are very similar but the keymapping they used is not uniform. The P-51 has keys mapped for it, the P-47 does not have any key strokes mapped at all, I had to figure out if I could use in-game keystrokes from the Mustang Left wing bomb arming and use some for the P-47 left wing arming... The Mosquito also has L/R/Belly bomb arming, dearming keybinds. This is what happens when your developers are not given a specific template of things that should be repeated from similar aircraft layouts and controls to make our jobs of programming our HOTAS easier. JMTCW.....
  6. They had one in England and one in Italy, the one in England was in an accident and never flew or saw action, the one in Italy did fly, but saw no action. the P-80 did make it to the continent, the Meteor did not... Of course it's carer in England was not as bad.. LOL It's still a chase plane for some companies. I believe Boeing retired theirs about two or three years ago. Cheers
  7. Viper, you can have custom plates made for your throttle from Tek Creations, he will send you a blank and you can design it how you want it. This the one I'm working on for IL2 and DCS Warbirds.
  8. Same TMWH? LOL, she needs a booster seat and adjustable pedals... keep her at it.. looks like she enjoys it.
  9. Clear everything that shows up in your controller columns and start over with Axis first, clear everything.. start new, then control binds.. flaps, guns. Happens to me when I mess things up too. You will have to do this for every single module unless you have that injector mod that makes the change for all your planes.
  10. https://www.monstertechusa.com/product/mfd-tablet-mount/ Mohammed must go to the Mountain... i.e. Monstertech Mountain...
  11. I've got a 3080ti running off a 800W Power Supply, so far so good.
  12. Don't forget what I said about storage Buzz....... you can always get more after it's in your hands. the M.2's go on the Mobo so there is no cables to run to the SATA ports and Power Supply. If you play DCS you understand... Cheers
  13. Those outfits that build computers are going to get parts cheaper than you will BuzzU so you will lose everytime. Just make sure they are reputable parts, read reviews on the installed parts. They have a lot more experience building computers, cable management, and tweaking it to work like a well oiled machine. LOL If they let you pick your parts, even better. Check to see how customer support is seen by others in the reviews and that they have On Call technical support. Let us know what you pick and how it runs once you get it. “Care about what other people think, and you will always be their prisoner” Cheers
  14. The GUI Radio button on the Right VPC Stick column would have a selection for move this column Left/Right so your "Right VPC Stick" and your "Left VPC Throttle" are side by side?. I would like my TMWH "Combined" to be the first controller I see on the left and not the last controller on the right. Good idea, Thrustmaster TARGET lets you do that in it's GUI screen with commands moving them up or down in sequence. Good idea! Cheers Hoss p.s. Nice Hijack job guys.. LOL
  15. You can bomb Libya with it................... do we have that map? But you would have to fly from England around France, because they would not let us over fly their country. Of course you would need multiple refuel events. Sounds like fun...
  16. That is the only thing about the Warthog throttle I'm not a fan of, those five switches that are hard to access once you are airborne. I make mine engine start functions, and never mess with them again after engine start. With TMWH and Monstertech mounts you have to think ahead about what you are going to do and how to mount it. I've had to experiment with mine to maintain functionality of use and storage. I saw a button box that fit on the left hand side of the throttle and it was only about 2" wide and the length of the throttle base, and all the buttons were usable any time.
  17. Turn off your Firewall, reboot, do a repair, reboot, start game.. if it works, turn firewall back on...
  18. Yes, my trim box works on all of the controls available. Some don't have all R/P/Y adjustments. All the other problems with my controllers and the Settings/Keymapping GUI page are good now. Thank you for asking.
  19. Gee, thanks Razor... sniffff.. snort.... .. I totally forgot Thailand, but we would need some F-105's to flesh that out proper, and I don't see those coming anytime soon. But the possibilities are endless, maybe even a hint of China around North Vietnam too... There is some animosity there now I think....
  20. It looks like you can put M.2 SSD's on your Motherboard, I'd get two, 1 or 2TB SSD's for your Motherboard. And another SSD to go in your mounts in the case. I've had one 1TB M.2 SSD on my Mobo and I ran out of room with IL2, IL2beta, and DCS & DCS Open Beta on it. I have the OS on a 500Gb SSD in the case, plus another 300Gb HDD for a dump truck. I can't stress how important it is to get Memory for a new build. If you have SSD's or HDD's you can erase if need be that you can install once you get your computer, that will alleviate buying extras. But I did go out and get another 1TB M.2 SSD for the Mother board, now I have IL2 and Beta on one and DCS and Open Beta on the other, with a lot of room to grow. The Windows OS is on the 500GB SSD in the case. So all in all I have 2.75TB of storage on this build, the two in the case came from old builds, the M.2's are new. Make sure they are cooled well, I noticed you got water cooling, I hope there are enough fans to keep the rest of the Mobo components cool. I've got six in mine LOL, sounds like a F/A-18 on start up.. LOL I use a 32" LG monitor 2560x1440, 144hz, 165fps with a Display Port 1.4 cable. I got it at CostCo and I do not regret it. When I built this computer I kept the SSD/HDD's, and my Monitor, and Video Card. I have since bought the MSI RTX3080ti Ventus, (huge difference) and replaced the monitor when it blew up. This one was on sale at Costco the next day so I bought it. G-sync is what I'm using instead of V-sync. No glitches in DCS and it runs IL2 insane fast.... Combat Box can tax it if it's really crowded with objects.. you know Alonzo and Sketch.. Now for the fun part, getting it setup, and everything installed..... I'm unavailable for tech assistance by the way... I've got some flying to do. Let us know how it goes. Hoss
  21. Tek Creations is the name of the mfg. They are out of Australia, so shipping is going to be pricey if yer not an Ozzie or Kiwi... and they do let you build your own plate to your tastes. They are $85.00 Ozzie dollars and around $45.00 to ship to California... As much as I do not look at my HOTAS while flying I don't believe I really need one of these for $131.00 Ozzie dollars, which works out to about $90.00 USD. But visit the sight, there are much more goodies there than just the Warthog plates. https://tekcreations.space/product-category/custom-plates-for-thrustmaster-warthog/ Cheers Hoss
  22. treasure, I sent you my TIR profile via PM, let me know if you need any help installing it. there are screenshots and a readme in there with it. Cheers Hoss
  23. I have been doing this flight sim stuff for awhile now... The birds I most would love to play with are the late WWII birds that did not see action in WWII. The F7F Tigercat, F8F Bearcat, the P-47N with wet wings, then the A-26, A-36.... I mean if we can get the Stunt Yak-52, the Christen Eagle II, and the I-16, whats holding anyone from doing these birds. I'm really surprised the Mosquito came out before a P-38. I end up getting P.O.d at DCS/ED for the lack of focus on finishing any Theater of War. Three WWII maps and very few planes of the period to make it more interesting. If all the AI were flyable it might be a bigger draw for the IL2 crowd to finally come over here for good. The Me-262 still needs to be started/finished after waiting for it this long. With a good map of Korea we could use the late war birds in a "What if we had to invade Japan" scenario... and Korean War on in to the cold war, to present. I absolutely have no idea why I have bought maps and planes I still have not used or mastered. Huge waste of money here on bits and pieces that may never fit together to make any real sense. And don't get me started on Bugs, why anyone would want to play on a Bugged out Open Beta Multiplayer server is beyond me, but here we are killing it..or trying to anyway. LOL Hoss
