  1. When you did the NORM alignment, did you ensure to verify the starting Lat/Lon coordinates on the DED with the ENT key on the ICP?
  2. Standard procedure is to start the right engine first in order to provide accumulator pressure for the brakes and APU. The ailerons are each powered by one hydraulic circuit, with a switching valve if that circuit fails to a backup circuit. The left aileron is ran primarily on circuit 2B, and backed up by 1B. Right aileron runs primarily on 1A and backed up by 2A. Circuit 1 is ran off the left AMAD, circuit 2 off the right AMAD.
  3. Not really any difference between A-A and MSL OVRD. They're both considered separate master modes, so you could have the MFDs configured differently for each.
  4. It's not a fix, it's a new feature.
  5. Set your ACQ source to TADS.
  6. If the AG radar picture is in FRZ mode, the image will hold, but the ownship icon will progress to give the pilot a reference as to where the aircraft is in relation to the frozen image.
  7. Interesting; with flaps AUTO does it set target G?
  8. Nose up/down trim is non-functional behaves differently during normal flight (FCS seeks to maintain 1.0G, based on commanded target G), and becomes operational behaves in a target-AoA mode in landing configuration (gear down, flaps either HALF or FULL) to set the desired AoA.
  9. AFAIK putting an AIM-9 and AIM-120 on the same dual-rack mount isn't possible.
  10. Not implemented currently. Only way for now is to group the aircraft together in the editor.
  11. I think part of the "problem" is that George doesn't use any stabilizing tools for the TADS yet (LMC/IAT), and is always adjusting manually with the thumbstick. This makes it difficult for him to adjust during maneuvers unless it requires a constant motion, which he seems fairly adept at compensating for. Small/rapid oscillations seem to be where he has the most trouble.
  12. Correct, usually you'd want to use it to increase range while at low altitudes.
  13. That's the loft cue that tells you when to execute a pull-up to the specified REL ANG (release angle). The circle will appear right before the cue reaches the FPM, and will flash to indicate the pull-up. Regular release cues will be present after the loft cues are gone. IIRC, if REL ANG is set to 0, loft cues are disabled.
  14. Yea, seeing that too, but I think the label should be something else since Desired Heading is already listed, even though the numerical value and symbol are symbiotic. Maybe something like 'Command Heading Bug?'
  15. In RWS, you can bug up to 2 in Dual Target Track (DTT). In TWS, you can have more potential tracks.
  16. FIX can also be used on the ground. You can create a waypoint on your actual position and update via overfly. Refueling/rearming shouldn't require you to realign your INS.
  17. Also, another point to consider is that MSI processing stops in A/G mode, and you might want the radar available for AGR.
  18. Have you tried using the FIX update methods?
  19. Yea, the external tanks will only fill the same amount that's missing from the internal tanks (i.e. the externals will stop once the internals are full).
  20. With LGBs loaded and selected, pressing PB4 on the STORES page (which is blank) opens an empty MFUZ selection menu. The only option is 'OFF,' but some PBs seem to think they're valid selections. Ultimately the blank option on PB4 just shouldn't do anything. LGB_MFUZ.trk
  21. TMS Up with FCR as SOI to lock.
  22. PP targets can only be set per pylon. If you have 2 JDAMs on one station, you'll have to set multiple PP targets (PP1, PP2, etc) and step to them manually before release.
