  1. Did you jump in the front seat and ensure the Laser Tracker switch on the Right Handgrip was set to Off instead of Auto?
  2. Set the DECAL code for kil_left and kil_right to "empty", true.
  3. Has that livery been updated to the new code format?
  4. We don't even have Longbow Net/Tactical Internet yet, be patient.
  5. The Hornet has no way to input a waypoint name from the cockpit, it can only be loaded as pre-named via MUMI (data cartridge).
  6. The exterior model is of a LITENING, but the interface is actually LANTIRN.
  7. More like years, we were on 2.5.5 in late 2019.
  8. Give this a read: The pilot has no direct control over the radar PRF, it's automatically selected based on the given radar operating mode.
  9. AFAIK the WCMD dispensers (-103/-105) can interface with the aircraft on the data bus so they can configure the burst altitude (for both) and spin setting (for the -103) from the cockpit. I believe -87 and -97 are set on the canister.
  10. Try switching the position-keeping mode on the HSI from POS/AINS to POS/GPS, see if there's any noticeable difference.
  11. Need some more info here: - What is your definition of "very normal" Gs for a turn? - Is the Stores Config switch set to CAT I or CAT III? - How is the aircraft loaded? - What altitude are the turns being executed? A track replay would answer all these.
  12. The only way for an L&S to not exist in TWS is for no valid trackfile to exist. TWS always tries to have an L&S present at all times, this is correct as per the radar manual. L&S can only be removed manually in RWS with the RSET option.
  13. This is normal behavior. TWS in the Hornet demands an L&S must be present, and will automatically designate the highest-ranked trackfile.
  14. A track file of your startup and/or the issue would help diagnose this.
  15. Your point is valid, but my point is that the aircraft needs to know how it's oriented in space in order to send the correct commands to the flight controls to maintain the captured altitude. If the gyros aren't aligned, for all the system knows the aircraft is flying knife-edge sideways, or upside-down, or some other orientation that's outside the limits of engaging BALT.
  16. Last I heard, LAU-131 was 'to be determined.' Nothing definitive one way or the other.
  17. Jump in the front seat and set the Laser Tracker (LT) switch on the RHG to off (middle position). George is setting it to Auto when powering up the TADS, it's been reported.
  18. When the pilot selects the gun, the gun is calibrated for the manual range (defaults to 1500m). The manual range can be adjusted on the WPN page using the MANRNG option on the bottom row and entering the desired range on the KU. The range can be set to automatic (based on the LOS of the pilot's sight) by entering 'A' on the KU (note that automatic ranging will only be applied while the gun is still selected, deselecting and reselecting the gun will revert to manual range).
