There is so much in the pipeline we have all been waiting for (for) so long... There is a constant wish list for “this and that”. It will be a great day when what is currently in the pipeline comes to fuition and ED fine tunes the Sim. For me, I’d rather see that happen before anything else. A US Trainer like a Texan would not be a bad thing though... one day down the road. But personally, it is no to the Cessna and it’s ilk.

Well it is not limited to WWII. I was attacked in my P51 by a friendly F15. After he decided he wanted a turn fight, I quickly sent him down in flames after just two turns while also shooting him the “bird”. That was very satisfying to say the least. Also to the OPs point, you should be able to identify the enemy by the shape of their plane long before seeing their markings. If a pilot is flying an enemy plane on the friendly side... well oh well bad choice. That said, if I subsequently see his markings and determine he is friendly I will disengage. Consider that pilot lucky On that day.

OP is talking about frozen lakes and steams. Now it would be cool to land on a frozen lake and skid along like ducks landing on a frozen lake.

Read the forums all day and finally got home to give this new bird a go myself. I have to say after reading many peoples problems I have found no issues with fps. 70 to 180 and 200s in and around Batumi. Thats in cockpit. I have seen zero stutters. Sorry but smooth as silk for me. The Harrier is a pleasure to fly. Nice job so far...how the heck do you steer this thing when taxiing? Really a beautiful bird she is.

None of those “ items” you mention are apparant or an issue.

This should be posted in the Hardware section. But, FYI, have been running DCS on a TV since the A10C was released. First a 55” Panasonic plasma and now recently a 65” 4K Samsung. I could never go back to a small monitor. I have no complaints, it is pretty awesome. I see no issues with FPS or anything else. I use the game mode on the TV and see no latency issues with any game. Surely, the “experts” will come along and give you the Pros n Cons shortly.

Personally, I do not have these problems but I feel for those that do. What I would like to know would be are the devs and testers seeing these problems on their systems? If not, what are their specs, settings, solutions? Sure, it may not work for everyone due to so many variables but I am not sure I have ever seen any of them share their specs, settings, solutions if they have one other than Big N. If in fact there is a problem inherent in a particular build, they should be open and share that with us?
