99% of computer hardware consumers will not be overclocking anything. It is up to the software vendors to ensure that their products are playable with out-of-the-box hardware.

It all comes down to how well the AI is programmed. Unfortunately, no matter how well it is programmed, it will eventually become easy to beat because it will respond the same way to the same situation. A human opponent is inherently unpredictable (most of the time) which makes a huge difference.

Indeed. Sometimes Apple opens the door and then gets run over as everyone follows them through. This is why I sold my Apple stock, about 4 years ago, and bought Amazon and FB with the proceeds.

Get an SSD as the first upgrade. I suspect that another 8GB of RAM would be good too but I would spend money on the SSD first. SSD prices are not as crazy as RAM at the moment so...

If ED gets the memory usage under control then 32GB should not be necessary. However, my next sim rig build will be 64GB since I believe in lots of headroom and future-proofing.

Sleep is a poorly implemented function. I disable all sleep and hibernate options. If you want it to be off there is a shutdown process for that (which I only use when on vacation or cleaning the inside of the box). I have two desktops, a laptop, a Surface Pro4 and two Synology NAS boxes and they all run nearly 24/7. When idle the power draw is insignificant.

Last I checked, you still have to pay those people. The other problem is skill level. If you want high quality then you need people with skills that the average 'intern' is not going to have.

How would you make that work with the A-10C, for example? You have the option of Left and Right brake axis or a single brake keyboard command (not an axis). If there was an axis bind for both brakes together, I would agree with your idea, but there is not.
