  1. First quick Flight in an F-15C Eagle, taking off from Nellis AFB: After a quick Climb to 30000ft: Racing towards Creech AFB: First Multiplayer Flight in the A-10C: Home Safe: Vegas Baby! The trees do indeed have a collision model. Test successful:
  3. Flying faster than 300km/h IAS will do that.
  4. There you go, RWY27 at Center has no PRMG. And yes, the wind in the Editor is to, not from.
  5. Which airbase and which direction? There are only 4 airbases equipped with RSBN and PRMG and only two of them have PRMG for approaches from either direction (but only for the active runway). The sytem works fine on my end so without more details I can only assume that it's a user error. More info: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2526887&postcount=36
  6. Hi Grimes, I couldn't get groups to activate triggers on a small training map I build unless it was the host who activated it. It was a really simple trigger: a couple of AI that where set as visible before start, activated via a group in zone trigger. Problem was they only activated if the host was in one of the slots. Changing it to unit in zone solved the problem.
  7. Grab your key off Steam (in your library select DCS World and now on the right click on CD Key). Then, on the DCS World Website, go to your personal section and enter it on the bottom left to check the license. You can then bind it to your account. Once that's done simply log into the module manager in DCS World and it should ask if you want to install the Albatros.
  8. For me it hits just below 520°C for short moment (it doesn't get to 520°C!) before it stabilizes around 420ish in idle. At max power I see a little more than 580°C (maybe 581 or 582), at 102% N1 it's 525°C. So that's pretty much in line with what you're saying, right? Maybe a small deviation here and there but it's minimal.
  9. Maybe it's a problem in MP then? As I said, I didn't get any hypoxia effects and my vision didn't black out. I was able to look around the cockpit like always, I just couldn't hit any switches and none of my control inputs registered. Oxygen was on (although only front seat) and pressure at ~100kg/cm² when this happened. The aircraft kept flying at around Mmax at ~8000m after I died (or lost the ability to control the aircraft). This happened after about two hours of flying in multiplayer so I'm afraid my track is absolutely useless.
  10. Oh I did turn on the oxygen in the front seat! And I even watched the pressure slowly drop as I flew at high altitude. It was around 100kg/cm² when I died and I didn't get any of the usual hypoxia effects that we know from other modules like the A-10C or the MiG-21 (blurry vision).
  11. Multiplayer, so only front seat as I didn't have someone in the back. What I noticed is that there is a switch for helmet ventilation but I presume that has something to do defogging the visor? Also the suit ventilation knob isn't working (yet?).
  12. How long does it take until you get this? I've now been flying for almost 30min at 8000m without problems. Maybe you just left the temperature settings of your environmental systems where it was at the start? I set it to ~20°C. Edit: aaaand I'm dead lol
  14. I got a couple of crashes while hosting multiplayer today. Most of them wherethe already reported setShader@DX11 renderer error but the last one was different: DCS_crash.zip
  17. Interesting. I'm going to do some tests as well because the only thing I can be sure of is that the drag chute never works when I've been flying for a some time while it does work in a fresh aircraft. I hope LN can fix this in the next update
  18. My Personal A-10C Warthog:
  19. That is quite the initiative! GL everyone!
  20. I just use rudder and stick to keep it straight. No reason to jettison perfectly good missiles - plus, the effect isn't even that bad.
  21. No, the one you turn on during startup - the switch next to the EAC behind the throttles. Below 5000ft AGL the radar altimeter will show your altitude (like this: 3250R), above 5000ft AGL it will read XXXXR. It's displayed on the right side of the HUD above the waypoint information. Additionally you can turn on a radar tape that will be displayed below 1500ft AGL
  22. There is a Radar altimeter below 5000ft and your TGP shows AGL as well. Plus, you can see the Terrain elevation on your CDU Page if the Waypoint isn't in the air (markpoint on the ground, Target Waypoint on the ground). So if you know terrain elevation you can quickly get an estimate on how high you are flying over the ground.
  23. The night time colour is for flying without NVG's. With NVG's you just use the normal green HUD and maybe tone down the brightness if necessary.
  24. Big thank you for the stream and the impromptu Q&A session on TS afterwards!
