Recently I've had problems with the attachments mod. Gun was floating. Can't recall exactly, some weeks ago already. Was there an update on the mod?

They were planning on using the Mi-24 as a test bed module for this afaik, as the AH-64 was test bed for the new FLIR engine in the first place. Lets just hope some work is coming to the huey again

Hi, I recently adopted a two screen layout again, with one smaller monitor (1600*1200) below my main monitor (3440*1440). In windows I aligned it to the left border, to make pixel calculation for viewports easier. Problem is, DCS ingame kneeboard is by default on the right side and pops up half way by default. Changing the default position of the kneeboard to start at X=0 and Y=0 fails the integrity check. Could that be fixed? Besides, I think a modification for viewports also per module should not fail the integrity check. I did not start to play around again with Viggen Radar etc., so I don't know if it fails the check, but I fear it will.

Check. Hätte nicht gedacht das der Treiber das Menü in der Systemsteuerung ändert. Dachte das müsste ein richtiges programm mit GUI sein. Ist aber tatsächlich dieser "Unified Drivers Package - 2018.FFD.2" Treiber.

Das Topic kommt mir grad wie gelgen, ich karpere mal ganz kurz für eine Frage: Habe jetzt auch diese TM Couagar MFDs und ein Rahmen sagt er sei MFD1, der andere MFD2. Kann ich das switchen? Ich habe die MFDs nämlich auf einen alten Bildschirm geklebt und kann die jetzt nicht mehr swappen, der Logik halber fände ich es aber cooler wenn links der 1er und rechts der 2er ist, zur Zeit ist es anders herum. Hatte kurz 3 minuten gegoogelt und irgendwo einen screenshot von einer "Thrustmaster Software" gefunden, aber keinen download link. Wäre cool wenn da jemand was wüsste. Daher fragte ich für die spezielle Konstellation. Ich selbst werde ja mein Rig behalten, aber ich spiele immer viele Gedanken durch, da ich öfter auch auch Projekte für Freunde, Bekannte und Verwandte am laufen habe. Meist sogar parallel und deshalb bleib ich da auch gerne auf dem aktuellen Stand.

Wie stehts hier um Meinungen 5800X3D vs 12600K(F), mal so aus Neugier. Habe einem Freund einen 12600K rig für DCS gebaut letzts Jahr, ein weiterer hat auch einen 12600KF genommen. Aber die Meinung zum 5800X3D ist noch nicht so ganz raus gekommen. Die Zeit in der eine neuere Generation raus kommt ist ja auch immer die Zeit in der man gut die ältere Gen relativ günstig kaufen kann, wenn man nicht das Neuste braucht. Future-Proofing ist ja eh so eine Sache. Habe mir vor 2 Jahren zum Futur proofing ein super X570 board geholt, habe dann letztendlich aber nur SSDs nachgerüstet weil das meiste schon am oberen Ende ist und jetzt wieder mal (wie immer) alles neu kommt. Wertfrei gesagt, ist ja normal. Also man tauscht dann doch immer mehr oder baut neu, oder lässt es halt so wie es is und überspringt eine oder mehrere Generationen denke ich.

But I fear it will not happen, because people who bought the SC then might feel 'betrayed', as this (any) feature will then be free on the Forrestal (or Tarawa in that sense). Personally I don't care, I love to see DCS grow with me having the role as a paying customer. Heck I bought the Apache without ever using it till now and was aware of it, I was not even hyped. (I should file it as donation in the tax ) Also I think it could be solved by just having a smaller set of features like having deck crew and maybe elevators (spawning under deck), but omitting the LSO and briefing room plus other future playable stations as SC-only feature, for the hardcore Enterprise-Class fans. Other people might think differently...

Manche Staffeln/Generationen von Piloten sind unglaublich einfallslos, andere Staffeln oder Piloten einer gewissen Gesinnung versuchen da der Tradition der US Navy, USAF, RAF, etc. eher die Ehre zu erweisen. Ich kenne da Sachen wie einfach nur gekürzte Nachnamen mit einem -i, Frauennamen als callsigns, aber auch lustigere und einfallsreichere Sachen. Sagen wir mal es schwankt zwischen: Es gibt teilweise nur lahme rufnamen, es gibt aber auch callsigns. Trocken mit echtem Vornamen hab ich jetzt zum Glück noch nicht erlebt.
