Established in 2017, we’re a DCS A-10C squadron. We train and fight like real A-10 pilots, using bona-fide USAF procedures and documentation as our guides. We pride ourselves on being some of the most experienced and skilled attack pilots in DCS - a product of our core goal to cultivate a community of experts. We ask that you visit our website at v163.org to learn more about us and our operations.

Cerberus Fighter Wing is a DCS Military Simulation group. Within the Fighter wing we emulate realistic procedures and operations focusing on creating an immersive environment. Though we are a MILSIM group we are still accessible to those who feel they may not yet have the experience to join a unit let alone a MILSIM unit. We run large scale and complex, dynamic campaigns against researched real life adversaries. These multi-phase/multi-mission campaigns function almost like a turn based system, with the outcome of one phase affecting the next phase. We are an EU based group but have members from all over the world who come together to strategize, plan and execute these in-depth operations. All members currently operate out of two squadrons; The Strike Fighter Squadron 103 (VFA 103) which utilises the F/A-18C Hornet and The 480th Fighter Squadron which utilise the F-16C Viper but we will be expanding to other platforms in the future. 41 Sqn/OCU is a small group who are part of RAFAIRUK and we cater to the more serious end of the DCS F18 fraternity. We formed three years ago from the chance meeting of the retired Commanding Officer of 41 Sqn and an ex-Chief Technician ground crew. After flying together and the Boss teaching me the basics of real-world training, we decided that we should expand the Squadron and train others - and the OCU (Operational Conversion Unit) was formed. The OCU course is taken from the Boss' own logbook and is a simplified (for DCS) version of the real course adapted for the F18 as the nearest jet to the RAF Jaguar in DCS (although far more advanced!). The course is fairly in-depth and requires a solid commitment to complete, but you will be flying with like-minded people in low-level formation attacks in all weathers by the end. You will have the opportunity to learn under the guidance of a seasoned and decorated Sqn Commander, in an environment as close to real as DCS can offer, with a staff of personally trained ex-mil personnel. We ask that you do not come to us unless you have the time available to fly at least twice per week and are open to learning, from scratch, how the Air Force train fast jet pilots. We set no basic flight requirements beyond that you can do a full manual start, take off and land safely - and even then we are prepared to help you achieve this if you are close. Having Teamspeak and SRS up and working is also a necessity. Visit the RAFAIRUK website, select Sqn's and Operational Conversion Unit and scroll down for our video and syllabus, if that looks good to you, come and talk to us on Teamspeak and we'll go from there. Roon.
