  1. Hi. I once ordered some of them from sparkfun (https://www.sparkfun.com/). They wher just ok. After those, ai found a shop here in Spain (close to my place) that had quite good ones, for litttle money (https://www.electronicaembajadores.com/es/). The website is in many langueges, and I guess they could send them to your place. For me the best deal; good quality and small price. By the way, all other stuff is really good quality as well. Saludos. Saca111
  2. Hi. First of all, make sure the type of Hall eff sensor is the correct one (see @yogi149 above). The legs should be conected as the ones out of a pot; one for positive, the other one for ground end the third one as the signal. Then make sure the magnet is placed corretly relative to the sensor (90º from the N-S axis to the flat spot or upper position of the sensor). Saludos Saca111
  3. Hi. Definitively yes, there is lag, but I found it happens when on the ground; I tryed both grounded and airborne and found that in the air the response is not lagged. I did some testing with other planes and the F 18 also has lag, but smaller. I talk about roll; pitch has really small lag. I did cross check with the control monitor ((RCTRL+ENT), and deffinitivelly, it was the visual mouvement the one with lag; the input monitor was coherent wit the stick deflection. I also did try with CAT I and III and the response was the same speed but less throw (the ailerons move less deflection). Anyhow, as airborne I can't feel/see no lag, I find the manouverability optimal (as always). Saludos. Saca111
  4. Hi Same here. Lots of stuttering and freezings, mostly when looking around, or changing from looking inside the cockpit to looking out side (from pilot perspective). Happend after 2.9. And ys I can go for non open beta version, but what is the point of testing if we can explain/complain about the found testing issues... It is not a rant, it is a normal report, and as many peolple has same issue, there might be some re thinking process. Saludos. Saca111
  5. Also, make sure you don't have the button bound to another module like the NS340, or another "UI layer" function. Saludos. Saca111 P:S. I just made a try and for me it works ok. I have it bound to a lever in a a panel (joystick). Saludos again
  6. Hi. That's what I first thought, but he refines the target later with the TGP, so the HMCS is non siginficant. My thought is that when pointing the nose/gun at the target, the TGP enters in its boresight gimbal limit and has to re locate, causing it to drift. My idea, simply. Saludos. Saca111
  7. HI. Couldn't read the entire thread but, did you swith on the lever in front of the throttles? I ask because I tested it yesterday and found it working ok. So, TF to ON (lef hand console, left of the ALT RAD lever), and then the lever infront of the throttles. ThenAP to ON. Saludos. Saca111
  8. Pole position! Congrats- Can't wait to buy it Saludos. Saca111
  9. Uff! Painfull... Saludos. Saca111
  10. Huh, yes? I had no idea, I always lost time switching HMD off and then entering Vert. Great advice, thanks a lot. Saludos Saca111
  11. Hi. I did not make myself clear enough, I meant to say what you said. Again, not a pro, but I don't think the rail irself moves physically, it is more an "offset" that applyes to all weapons in that rail, as you said. In any case, do the boresight at about the same distance you intend to use the weapon, and in the air, so the BS is the most similar to the "real thing". Saludos. Saca111
  12. Hi. As far as I know, you boresight the rail, not the missile. Is it accurate or not, can not tell, but I think this is the way it works. Saludos. Saca111
  13. Hi. Yes, but not always, I may add. I find it unconsistent and unpredictable. Saludos. Saca111
  14. Hi. Also, in the TGP screen you have an option on the righthand buttons (can not recall the name nor the TGP type) to slave the TGP to the VV or else. Try to slave it to the VV, then undesignate and designate back to the target. I hope I explained myself enough. Saludos Saca111
  15. Yep. That's the way to go. I tried with "Fritzing", not bad app but not free anymore, but at the end you need that PCB done; so it was a new skill to learn, or make a pro make it (PCBway, as an example), so I stuck with a lot of cables as the less and faster to accomplish. The end result is astonnishing, I can not imagine flying without a physical setup. Saludos Saca111
  16. +1
  17. HI @Vakarian. Think about what I told the OP; Try to use a common ground wire for the most of the buttons as possible, it really helps reducing the amount of wires. And also, if possible, use color wires, so it is easier to follow the track of them when trouble shooting. For my project, I used ribbon cable (like the ones in an IDE cable), cut so a group of buttons that are close in the board stay together and make less of a mess. As an example, the left 5 selector buttons will go in a 5 wires ribbon cable, another 5 block for the right hand 5 selector buttons and so on... and the common (ground) part of the buttons is connceted together into a single wire, so you can economize lot of cable nest. It is cleaner but more difficult to keep trak of the cables. I hope I made myself clear, as it is not as easy to explain in words. Go for it and enjoy the journey (I did enjoy making my boxes, I almost prefered making them than actually flying with them). Saludos. Saca111
  18. Really good setup. Congrats! And the good thing is, with little mind effort, you can use it for the Hornet and the Harrier. Almost direct translation. And yes, keep that GF happy, she's a catch! Saludos. Saca111
  19. Hi @MillKris. Whyat an outstanding job of yours! Good work, no doubt. I made the A10 C UFC, the F/A-18 and the ICP of the F-16, but yourd look gorgeouse. I don't know how the Leo Bodnar actually works, but I did my projects with this info ( https://forum.dcs.world/topic/97434-an-arduino-usb-hid-controller-composite-usb-controller), reason being that it has 256 buttons () and up to 8 pots (), but the most important thing I wanted to share with you is that the buttons are created over a matrix, witch saves a lot of wire mess and makes troubleshooting more easy (if that is possible). And believe me, that is important... I didn't ment to be mean, just I had a rush reaction when I saw all those wires (). If you think I may be of some help, don't hesitate in asking. Saludos. Saca111
  20. I do.... just for the sake of doing it, after I watched a real pilot talking about the ground crew having to bleed the hydraulics manually with a lever ( lots of elbow grease). If you keep the battery on, and you move continuosly the stick, the stabs will gradually move less and eventually stop moving, but I can not say if the will finally sag down. Just a freky thing, I m affraid. Saludos. Saca111
  21. Hi. Assign him another place to land, better in a AB close to him. Or add more waypoint after the last one, and far away, if possible. Also, there is an option of "doing acrobatics"or similar. Try it. Saludos. Saca111
  22. HI. Get a set (minumum) of Thrustmasters MFD s. Life is great with with those things... Use two as your actual MFD and if you have more than two, well, set them up as you see fit. Use a second set of (cheap) hotas, but don't use them to fly; use them (bind the buttons) for the more important buttons on the cockpit. Even console controllers are a great addition. If you are more into building things, get an Arduino Mega and be creative (https://forum.dcs.world/topic/97434-an-arduino-usb-hid-controller-composite-usb-controller). The best option, in my opinion. Saludos Saca111
  23. Hi. If I understood your explanaition correctly, the new est of pedals are recognized but have a "new" "out of the box" setup inside DCS. If that is so, you will have to redo the setup (curves, dead zone etc.). If you saved the "Saitek setup/config", you can allways "load" that setup into the new pedals. If you do not have the SAitk setup saved, you can swap pedals back to Saitek, open DCS and save the old config. Exit DCS, swap back to new ones and load then the config, but I think this is more complicated than seting them up. Saludos. Saca111
  24. As for today... ST version started with no problems. Haven't tryed MT, as it wasn't having issues. Saludos. Saca111
