  1. hello, the original missions were meant to be used with the Stennis free carrier, not with the supercarrier, so they cant interact with the deck crew. the file was uploaded without my permission, I’ve just checked my personal messages and can’t find any request for them. The missions were created on 2021 and thus they are not really compatible with the current version of DCS. it should be soon, the developer of this new version is the user @nibbylot thanks for the link, as I was not aware of that file. best regards, Eduardo
  2. Hello, I’m re-making them for the upcoming T-45 v1.2, they will be included within the updated version so it won’t be neccesary to download them from user files. The older missions are not available anymore as they didn’t work properly on the current DCS version. best regards, Eduardo
  3. I haven’t tested it yet, but it should notify you if the file gets updated in the future, so that you can update your old downloads.
  4. hello, thanks a lot for highlighting this… I wasnt aware of it … great feature, wonder why ED doesn’t highlighted this on the newsletter
  5. i purchased mine new on 2004 and the cost was us$300 plus shipping.
  6. Hello, I’ve edited some training missions for the T-45, but i’m no sure if you are using my mission or one from another author. Mine works like this:
  7. I will wait until I’m sure that I can load its cockpit on the Modelviewer, ie it is not encrypted like on the F-5E remaster. Only then will I commit to a purchase, sadly gone are the days when I would purchase every new module on day 1
  8. from the manual: In case of aircraft damage or other emergencies, an automatic method to move the aircraft to a parking spot is available. To use this, you must stop, lower the tail hook, fold the wing, and set the throttle to idle or turn off the engine. Then, by pressing [LCtrl+LShift+LAlt+T], the aircraft will be moved to the assigned parking spot and turned into the parking position. Automatic movement to parking is available at any time during the taxi to parking. Upon arrival at the parking spot, the player can access a game menu to request repairs, refueling, rearming, and request launch. The parking menu can be invoked by pressing [LCtrl+LShift+LAlt+Р] and is only available when in the assigned parking spot.
  9. couldn't agree more, its an amazing fact. On my case, I did flew multiplayer for about a year, even got to install a dedicated server ... but after a while all the flaws of social gaming convinced me that I'm better off playing SP only and I'm much happier now
  10. the manual should be in the "doc" folder of the Module (at /eagle dynamics/dcs/mods/aircraft/m-2000) I'm at home now, this is the precise location:
  11. No, symbolic links do not impose a performance penalty over moving the data itself, but for DCS I do recommend to employ hard links (MKLINK /J) rather than symbolic links.
  12. Hi, I'm now able to detect when the aircraft is stopped on deck, tough I still need to work on my triggers to avoid conflicting messages ... but I now believe that my mission will eventually work as intended:
  13. Indeed .. I'm checking the speed on an aircraft Parameter, not sure if it can be seen on a script: CURRENT_GS:24.972935\ It returns the speed in knots
  14. Great video .... couldn't find a place to hang it on the Skyraider forum, so here it is: Skyraider sound recording (couldn't embed the video, sorry)
  15. Hi, yes, I was just testing that On my mission the carrier's speed is set to 25 knots, but in reality it fluctuates between 24.95 and 24.98. If the aircraft is taxing towards the bow, its GS will be higher than that range, if it is taxing towards the stern then its speed will be below that range. I will test this now in practice, and let you know how it went
  16. Hi, thanks for posting here. I will check your idea, to see if it would work in practice ... will let you know.
  17. Yeah, and nowadays everyone is used to people putting their own needs over other's .. who cares if you have to spend time translating my important post
  18. Hello, on a mission of mine, I need to detect when an aircraft is stopped on deck. The parameters for aircraft speed (tas, indicated, gs) all take into account the carrier and/or wind speeds. So far I can detect if the player is applying wheelbrakes, but not if the aircraft is immobile or not. anyone has a script that could work for this use case? thanks a lot for any help with this Eduardo
  19. Maybe, but only ED knows when that will happen. I'm null at creating liveries, so I depend on users like you sharing the liveries they create ... but I do like to edit training missions, but without the ModelViewer to inspect the arguments of the cockpit elements there is no way I can do this kind of missions for the new F-5 (which I foolishly purchased before knowing about its encryption), pity so now I'm instead making this type of mission for the T-45C User Mod.
  20. ED has encrypted the 3d shape of this module, unfortunately the ModelViewer has not been updated to be able to load these encrypted files. i understand that all upcoming ED modules, like the Mig-29, will have this same encryption … that’s why I have not pre-purchased the Mig-29 in spite of it being one of my favorite aircraft
  21. Sad to see the term "abandonware" being used with such ease and lightness. Something being old is not the same as being abandoned, I'm pretty sure it is being maintained or it wouldn't work on the current DCS version ... maybe you mean that no new features nor tech changes is the same as being abandoned, it is not.
  22. Major, I enjoy trying out new community-created liveries, missions, campaigns, and new assets. Dcs would not be the same for me if I had to go back to official content only.
  23. I understand your logic, but I'd rather stick with my preference for finishing one item before starting another.
  24. Hi, Just downloaded your F-14 Guide, seems really well written and with a lot more information on combat than either the Heatblur manual nor Chuck's Guide. I'm not currently flying the Tomcat but a lot of its information is applicable to other fighter aircraft, I added it to my DCS library and will serve as night-time reading I'd love to see something similar but for the MiG-29, perhaps write first one for the Flamming Cliffs version? ... and then a 2nd version once the Full Fidelity aircraft arrives? Best regards, from Chile Eduardo
