Yes, it's available for those that have updated DCS to its latest release (version 2.9.17.11733 )

Unfortunately, the person that edited these missions made use of some WW2 Assets units, if you don't own it then you won't be able to load those missions. Hopefully someone at M3 will see this bug report and fix those missions.

Hi, Turns out its the same folder name as for its liveries: "F4U-1D_CW" ... now I have a working custom kneeboard for both variants ... I may end-up placing a junction link there, so as to use a single kneeboard set of pages for both variants, to save a bit of drive space and to ease update maintenance Cheers!

Hello, I've been able to place a custom kneeboard for the Corsair at /Saved Games/DCS/Kneeboard/F4U-1D Looks like this: However, this kneeboard is not picked up by the British variant of the Corsair. Does anyone know which folder name should be used for it? I tried "F4U-1D Mk.IV" but the Sim doen't pick it up.

Wish you success on restarting this development and getting a Team. If you ever need a Mission designer for this aircraft, I'd love to edit some Quick and Training missions for it. Cheers. Eduardo

They are independent of each other, but keep in mind that Marianas is just 14 GB and Marianas WW2 just 9 GB ... if your drive is almost full it won't make much of a difference deleting one of them.

Thanks, seems Magnitude 3 uses a different convention, most other aircraft store the cockpit shape inside "Cockpit", but the Mig-21 places it within "Shapes" ... can you please show the contents of the Shape folder? on the Mig-21 is like this: I wanted to just check folders, as most users do not know their way around the ModelViewer application ... so, this seemed like an easier way. Thanks a lot, It should have a "Shape" folder inside Cockpit, with a .EDM file, like this: An encrypted Module will not have such file, in fact the F-5E 2024 does not have the "Shape" folder at all: Thanks again Eduardo

Because I enjoy making training missions for DCS, and for that I do need the information on which cockpit argument does what. DCS does not provide a list of the arguments, so the only way is to check those using ModelViewer. But, if the aircraft's cockpit can't be loaded on the MV because it is encrypted, then I'm completely unable to get the information needed for this kind of mission. Honestly, I guess most likely the Corsair Cockpit is not encrypted, because on the F-5E they encrypted both the external shape file and the Cockpit file, and here I have seen that the external shape isn't encrypted, but I do want to be sure before spending the 50 quid.

Hello, I updated DCS today but have not yet purchased the Corsair. I found that I can load the external 3D Shape onto ModelViewer 2, like this: As I don't have the flyable module, I have not been able to confirm if the Cockpit 3D Shape can or can't be loaded by MV2 ... please, can anyone who purchased the Corsair test if MV2 can load its cockpit shape? Thanks for any help with this, as I'm itching to purchase this bird Eduardo

Hi, Please, once you install your new Module, can you take a look at its following folder: DCS/Mods/name-of-corsair/Cockpit/Shape ? I wan't to know if I will be able to load its cockpit 3d-shape on Model Viewer, before I commit to a purchase, thanks a lot Eduardo
