  1. Here are 2 track files with multiple missiles coming off per pickle press. The first is AIM120's the second is sidewinders. server-20200119-162707.trk server-20200119-162937.trk
  2. For that kind of money why not go VR? I have a 4k TV and never use it due to the superior immersion of VR with DCS. The higher hz won't really benefit you in DCS, of course if you're also playing FPS's it will help a lot.
  3. Same problem here, I also submitted a bug report, but the track file size limitations prevented me from loading the track file. I also get a problem using a modifier with an assigned controller button for F2 view, and only F2. F10 and F1 work fine. No problem with any other module, so something weird is going on with the controls of the Viper.
  4. I have a worse system then you, and I'm not having any problems, single or mp (pending the sever). What speed is your ram? What PD are you running on steam and/or DCS? I've found PD to have the biggest impact on FPS and I only run 1.2 PD in steam, which is enough for clarity without killing FPS (no MSAA). Some compromise's will have to be made in visual quality until the hardware/software optimization catches up.
  5. Would love to provide BIGNEWY, forum says file is to large, please advise on best method to post/share.
  6. It's possible, however, I have been very deliberate with the button presses in my testing, and no other module, to include FC3 airplanes have this issue. I've literally had all 4 amraams come off at the exact same time (no separation in flight), I would think that should not be possible.
  7. Forum won't let me upload, says track file size to large. Is there another way to share it?
  8. Seems to occur primarily on multiplayer servers. Sometimes it's worse then others, I've had all 4 120C's come off at the exact same time. Track only has 2 9X's coming off at the same time at the end of the track after a couple of spawns into a hot aircraft on the ramp. I was hosting the server with just me on it, but it's happened when others have been online with me as well.
  9. For the VR headset be sure to take into account your IPD (distance between your eyes), as the Rift S and Reverb have no adjustment for this. This can place your eyes well outside of the sweet spot and make everything blurry/hazy no matter what you do. If you want IPD adjustment the only good choices are the Odyssey and the Index.
  10. If you want to keep the response linear, you can just change the saturation of the x and y axis's. I moved mine to 40-50% and it made it much better (I also have an extension on my stick).
  11. I'm in the exact same CPU boat as you. After doing a reasonable amount of research I've come to the conclusion that the current gen Intel and Ryzen CPU's are only giving about a 10-15% improvement in gaming performance over an overclocked 6700k. Hard to justify an upgrade imo for just gaming. Also depressing how little progress has been made in 3 years or more (aside from core count).
  12. Disregard, misread your post.
  13. You can actually drop cores real time with the windows affinity settings. Performance gets real bad when you drop to one core.
  14. I couldn't get it to uncage with or without HMDS. I had no targets to play with but as mentioned earlier no scan pattern and it (seeker diamond) won't follow the HMDS. I'm not certain what the correct behavior is though, should it do those things?
  15. Default view center button is Num5. If you connect 3.5mm directly to the headset (I think the rift S has this option) that should turn them off (as you will have unplugged them). If not do as dburne mentioned and manage your audio source under windows settings.
  16. I went from a 1070 to a 1080ti and it was definitely worth it. No problems driving an Index HMD.
  17. I'm in a similar boat as you (6700k), except I'm currently OC'd to 4.8Ghz. Not sure it's worth upgrading for 300Mhz unless there is significant increases in IPC and or cache. If you upgrade please let us know what FPS increases you see.
  18. AMD's are trickier to overclock then intel's. You also need to overclock the infinity fabric to take full advantage of your cpu. There are lot's of video's on you tube as to the best way to achieve this.
  19. Thank you for the video! What clock were you running on the old system?
  20. I think the Jammer can go centerline or on a chin mount like the TGP. So you will be able to carry TGP, Jammer and Centerline tank. Edit: I was wrong on jammer pod station placement.
  21. Acer is supposedly in the process of making a new headset that will have the resolution of the Reverb with IPD. So might be worth waiting for that.
  22. What are your steam settings with the index? I've found you have a lot more choice in settings with steam/index then any other headset, which can be good and bad. If you have your super sampling/screen hz or other setting to high it can cause problems.
  23. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=229207
  24. All of the problems you mentioned have been much improved if not completely nullified by the latest gen headsets.
