  1. Have you tried removing them from the in-game module manager instead of deleting the files themselves?
  2. No, he will not do that by himself. It's more likely this was battle damage and/or over-G.
  3. Guess everyone who insists on that line of thought can wait for the Typhoon to be released and afterwards simply stop bothering with anybody else is developing for a long time at least.
  4. Do you have the map it is running installed? Does the description list - in red - any mods the server is running that you might have to match? Are you using the same version of DCS?
  5. I've noticed something similar, too, and at least for me it clears up by tapping another modifier. For example, LShift might stop responding until I happen to it LCtrl once, then it's back for a while.
  6. I think Combined Arms does not feature a lot of naval assets and works questionably with ground vehicles on the whole, so Marianas is probably the map to have the least fun with it.
  7. I just noticed that if you start your flight with a rather bad INS alignment (or simply deliberately don't wait for it to finish) the RWR system displays threats in relation to where the INS believes the plane to be, rather than the correct bearings. For example a single enemy plane I can clearly see off my nose might get displayed as behind, despite no possible emitter being in that direction. In my opinion that seems rather bizarre, since the two systems should work independent from one another.
  8. Definitely in favour, as this one would be useful for scenarios from late WW2 through Korea all the way to the Vietnam/Cold War era.

    DCS start date

The issue that there is no fitting map nor any surrounding assets for a module at its release has previously never stopped development in DCS.
  10. From my A-10C I experience the issue might be that in a lot of situations MANPADS will fire at your when you are right above them and hence they tend to be in the MWS's blind spot.
  11. Yet, there might be a few extra liveries coming along. After all, the C-101 got a few fictional ones as well.
  12. If I'm not mistaken that is intentional as you can add decimals in between the two presses of ENT. (DDD-MM-SS.SS), just like with JDAMs.
  13. To Xilon_x we humans all look alike.
  14. Just a couple of 'live' shots from a Yak-52 flight I undertook a short while ago Flying out from Krasnodar towards Maykop I got joined by TCat in a, well, T(om)cat for a while Crossing over the mountains north of Gudauta. It was an MP mission and I sought to avoid Sochi as there were enemy fighters in the area. The clouds might be pretty to look at, but once in a while they can be a little dangerous. Crossing over the peaks just above the clouds, to be safe of any sudden mountainside surprises. Landed and shut down at Batumi International, the eventual destination.
  15. It sure would be nice to have a more engaging way of making use of internal cargo space where applicable.
  16. From a recent online flight in the Yak-52. Who says I can't dogfight? (Actually TCat pulling away from formation)
  17. I agree that it is a problem in the same vein as the 'individual weapon stats' have been a problem. The Jeff is certainly not the only module that has that kind of thing modeled, but the degrees vary a lot. Off the top of my head the A-10C (at least the old one, the II presumably, too) can have these problems, but they are fairly rare due to the generally slow speeds and the MiG-21bis will literally lose payloads along with the mounts in hard manoeuvres.
  18. Nice. A bit too rough weather really, but you managed.
  19. Right, I'm the one with 'no brain' after your original post of 'Title.'. Could have said you had a problem with the contrast on the map, assuming that you are suffering from the more common red/green deficiency, but no you instead wanted to bait that, right? Frankly, if you had, I could have given you a more walkable method of increasing contrast about that.
  20. I noticed yesterday that using the individual on/off keybinds seems to be working the wrong way around, though. The button on the stick moves correctly (as far as I can tell), but the actual smoke seemed to be the wrong way around.
  21. Uhm... why? I mean, there is blue and there is red. That's it. There are no further factions/colours. In theory that could possibly be modded, but it's most probably much more trouble than it's worth.
  22. I mean, have you seen the forums lately? (Just kidding, kinda)
  23. Visual representation of my answer to 'how has your week been?'
  24. It's almost as if the solution to something literally saying 'air defence system' on the box might not be air attack. (Yes, yes, it works perfectly fine for most of the old-timey models, but that is mostly because you clobber them with space weapons from the future)
