Crimea being so politically sensistive is probably still unlikely. I would however like to see something added to the Turkey section of the map. I'm not sure if there are any airbases in that area thats on our map but there has to atleast be an airport right?

I could be wrong so anyone is welcome to correct me... But my understanding is vulkan is able to utilize multiple processor cores so the you would see a bigger performance gain if your cpu is an 8 core than you would if it was a 4 core. I'm sure it reaches a point of diminishing return though on one of those absurd 32 core processors.

I doubt they would shut down the old modules if you don't buy the new when they are doing graphical updates to the old ones? Whats the point of upgrading the old if your going to shut it down? Whats the point of upgrading it at all if your trying to sell a new one? It's just a nice gesture from ED since the upgraded cockpits of the old one will cause some not to bother buying the new. Honestly this is exactly what we need. Product sustainment takes money and these discounted upgrades are what will pay for it.

@BigNewy The newsletter noted the relevance of the map to WWII, will there be anyway to delete modern airbase and buildings? I hope it wouldn't require two installs of the map but something like tick this box to delete modern stuff and add WWII stuff.

So to the people complaining, Guam is a major strategic point of the pacific in modern day with the US AirForce operating Bombers out of it. Any war with China or North Korea would begin with either of them launching ballistic missiles at the island and followed by long range bombers in China's case. It's a stationary "aircraft carrier" that can launch B-52s and B-1s. It's importance can not be overstated. But hey if you aren't excited about it oh well. ED can't develop exactly what everyone thinks should be the top priority. Sometimes I end up disappointed by their choices too. This is definitely not one of those times though.

I'm wondering if they're also going to add the Liaoning with the Kuznetsov update?

It was the secret free map. I'm thrilled it wasn't the new WWII European map. I'm wondering if that one will have enough differentiation from Normandy to justify it.

Well we'll also need A-7s, an SH-3, can't remember if there were any C or E-2s... At least Mag 3 is doing the F-8 for it. Kinda a lot of work for one fight with some zero's though lol.

There was, and there have been a few screens of it. But we haven't heard anything about it for some time now. Best guess is its been backburnered and they'll get around to it sometime. With only 1 Russian FC3 plane to fly off it though it's understandable that its priority dropped.

So I followed instructions and edited it as shown for the F-18 version to make it work with open beta, but after completing the first mission I get an error saying it couldn't record anything and then its just the first mission again? It doesn't seem to track any progress. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I'd love to see it in 2020 but if they're going to stick to their Harrier Mirage commitment the pace needs to pick up on those.

I'd love to see more korea stuff. Right now I throw the spitfire on the russian side for fights of that era. I'd delete the Bell 47 from the list though and replace it with the H-19. The 47 was made famous by the MASH TV show but the H-19 was far more useful. And if you can forgive me for bragging a little can say from personnel experience its a lot more fun to fly ;)w

The Mirage was my first full fidelity module and I really enjoyed it. It taught me BFM, WVR, and BVR and I used it to great success. With recent updates though as they seek to improve it somethings have become bugged and the frustrating thing is trying to figure out if its a change to how the system operates so now I'm experiencing user error or if it is an actual bug. So I'll leave it parked in my hangar for a few month while they clean it up and then re learn her. For now they have my benefit of the doubt but if it takes too long (6-8 months) I'll start to complain. BTW to the OP, glad your enjoying it. Not my favorite anymore but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be yours!
