  3. I have run the QAG once and I don't get it. It started with my last used PG map. I set my action options and clicked Generate. It then moved my starting and enemy postitions to completely different place on PG map, only then I was able to click Save and play. It lacks options and I find it harder than ME to use. Of course assuming knowing ME already.

  5. It may be - CPU gets too hot (you have to check it) and starts to throttle back, lowering performance, thus causing the CPU to be the bottleneck and GPU waiting for the CPU, thus lowering its usage.
  6. No. I suggest to make some measurable tests before posting revelations. If you find something fishy post a short track. There are many reasons Jester (or rather radar) won't show the target like wrong antenna coverage set, too small doppler shift, hiding in ground clutter, inappropriate search mode, too small RCS, etc. Also check DDD when you think it should show up on TID. May be there but not enough to build a track, etc. Give us a case.

  11. What's confusing? In the editor you have an arrow and "blows to dir". In the briefing there are 2 values for everyone's pleasure - one "blows to direction" and the other - "meteo" as "blows from".
  12. Doesn't mean it can be fictional. ED removed many past features of DCS or their FC modules to make them more realistic, not less. It doesn't look like they want to add more FC birds either, apart from modifying already made FF modules like they did for FC 2024. If it's a mod - it's not official by definition - it's game modification. Let it stay out of the game for good reasons. I'd wholeheartedly support a wish for full fidelity modules like Su-24 or MiG-27 though

  14. Can we change the thread title to something like "High CPU usage in main menu/ME after update to 2.9.16.10523"? CPU temperature is none of DCS concerns. It's on the user to keep their CPUs cool and safe enough even with full CPU usage. And it can't be idle either since it gets hot.

  16. Ghosting is normal part of every temporal AA method. They can only reduce it. If you can't live with the effect you have to go with other AA tech.
  17. If the missile range or speed is provided without any launch parameters it's just pure marketing as there is no one standard for it. As one can see the differences can be huge. The missile likes to be launched high and fast - giving it high starting speed and the advantage of flying in low drag thin air. Launch it low and slow and you'll get single digit range, much slower speed. Physics. Chizh once said "launch the missile from satellite and its range will be global (intercontinental)"

  19. Yes, not a bug technically but the very noticable issue, espacially when we already have rain on canopy simulated, wipers and wet carrier deck.

  21. Thank you for your feedback. It seems like the convoy just stops randomly at the start of the mission. If you try to restart the mission it should work 2nd or 3rd time*. It is not even scripts related - just simple AI group following the road to WP1. *You can quickly check them by going to free camera view Lctrl+F11, Lshift+W to find them in the valley - if they are stopped, they are there to stay, restart. I'll try to reconfigure the convoy to see if it makes any difference.
  22. You failed to understand its purpose. If you have no connection or a troubled one you have to connect once, authorise and then turn offline mode on - then play DCS however long you want until you change your PC or system, without requirement for Internet.
