  1. There's a CMOS/BIOS battery dying on your motherboard. Usually CM2032 in PC.
  2. Which makes it possible to r&r on the taxilines and rwy in many cases - right back to the problem.
  3. How about you removing Razbam products from your DCS, if you had any in the first place, and then give us a rest with your arm chair business advises?
  4. If you want to remove the trees there's a trigger action "scenery destruction zone". There's no "dead tree" static or any tree for that matter. You can see leafless trees in the winter season if the map provides one.
  5. Going VR alone puts more pressure on CPU. Now going high res VR puts a lot of pressure on GPU, additionally. The more powerful card the better - ask your accountant for the budget. I started VR with low budget PC and didn't regret it but you may not be willing to accept playing at lower fps than optimal.
  6. I'm sure it'd be great but I find new Iraq map to be a perfect match for F-15C and an opportunity to make some amazing campaign. Take all the time you need
  7. Yes, and it's their right, but why would they leave DCS? They want to make an agreement and continue the work... and make money like any business would do in such a development niche.
  8. Here you are: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2316890/DCS_F15E/ Better hurry though. There's nothing like that in his statements.
  9. Yeah, that's better wording.
  10. As always a lot of conjecture and assumptions from people that know nothing about a case. Apparently you won't know the whole truth and you shouldn't make any conclusions from that. Both parties fight for their rights and want to play it their way. Nothing is over. Nothing has really changed. We're still waiting for the resolution.
  11. Where do you get that precise number from?
  12. You don't have to run Steam DCS. You can just bind Steam account to your ED account for the Steam license transfer.
  13. No, ED requested Steam to pull it too but the action takes time so it can be any minute.
  14. There's no magic to it. When you go down you get energy back, when you go up you lose it. AB can accelerate you but only if you don't kill the thrust with the drag. That means you have to control how many Gs you pull on the stick. If you're fast you can afford to pull more. If you're slow you have to be gentle with it and allow it to regain the energy - yes, you'll lose some angles, that's part of the game. You can also mix it - pull more while nose down and pull less when going up. Practice, practice, practice!
  15. Nothing really changed for the modules since a year. They are still available on Steam though if you hurry up.
  16. No need to be lazy as.
  17. Why are you in the refund thread then? I'm glad I purchased and never regretted. Just did my first 6 JDAMs 6 targets run in one pass
  18. As a minimum plan - just a thud sound and an event log note.
  19. There are detection parameters (los, range, angles, light conditions, heat signature...) for different sensors, including visual without instruments, and when met they can "see" you, otherwise they don't. If it doesn't work like that it's a bug and you better spend your time on reporting. Same with accuracy, some of it is reported already.

    Gear Down

I started even earlier with 8-bit sims but they never punished me for sloppy nose down landings until the real challenge started in LOMAC F-15 and then in DCS's PFM. Only then I learned to do it properly.
  21. They always use in-game footage for these. And we have no J-15 in DCS, not even plans.
  22. This only means that they are not available for sale now. Refunds are done through the customer support.
  23. It's not going the right direction. Still available on Steam.
